since 2000 they added a all new theme park Disney's California Adventure, in Disneyland they add the 50th show, redid Space Mountain, Added Buzz, added johnny depp to pirates, added a new bride to the Haunted Mansion, removed Country Bear and added Pooh Bear, are in the works to reopen the Submarines and are also redoing Tom's island, the tree house is now closed untill further notice, they also updated the Jungle Crusie if i think of anything else i will post it and as for your monster inc comment yes they did add a ride to that movie but it is in DCA the other theme park so if you have not been scine 2000 that hole park would be new to you

The treehouse is closed? When did that happen? Are they changing it again?

New rides/updates since 2000 (disneyland park only):

Winnie the Pooh (2003)
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (2005)
Effects added to Jungle Cruise (2005)
Space Mountain redone (2005)
Remember Dreams Come True Fireworks (2005)
Parade of Dreams (2005)
Changes to Attic- Haunted Mansion (2006)
Jack Sparrow and other updates- Pirates of the Caribbean (2006)
Princess Fantasy Faire (2006)
Jedi Training Academy (2007)

The treehouse is closed? When did that happen? Are they changing it again?Supposedly they're fixing the main structure because the stress from the suspension bridge may have caused damage on the main tree structure itself.

Not true. Epcot added in Soarin', and received it as a gift from Disney's California Adventure.

As long as they're not "piratizing" it, like they seem to be doing with the rest of the park.

You can relax Neoteny, DOSH closed is a few weeks back because the tree is structurally unsound. Turns out they just tacked the pieces of Tarzan's tree house onto the old Swiss Family Robinson tree house, without strengthening the structure or even checking to see if it would hold up to the changes. So for know the whole thing is covered in tarps, and is closed to the public.
