I just wanted to start another thread about all of the updates that VMK has come up with. What are ya'lls view? Like them, hate them? And if either, why? Please still be considerate with your critics and don't go overboard please. :D Feel free to post.

I like the rides, but I wish there was some other way to get the single use magic for sword in the stone tries. I like the room options. I like the guests can move a item option but the item should default back to not moveable after you put it back in your inventory and it doesn't now. I don't care for the bubbles with a players name that pops up when you mouse over them and I don't care for the new way the generators spin.

I love the new rides but hate the fact that you only get the magic pin once in a blue moon...then you might get a Mad Hatter pin if you are double lucky! The title's that appear when your arrow scrolls over the character is so coolio!

Oh and I also wish there was a option on the - allow guests to move a item - list that only allowed the guests to rotate the item and not move it around.

Sorry, but I hate the way the names pop up when your cursor goes over it. It is very distracting and annoying. As someone said in another thread, wish there was a way to disable that feature :(

I think everything so far's been great. Whats even more impressive is the lack of extra lag. VMK is still running perfectly normal on my computer, something that doesn't happen with new additions.

Well, you seem to be the lucky one future. I am having more lag than ever and that is a big problem for me. Also I am crashing easier, but that myay be do to my having VMK Pal. But I can't say for sure.

Thumbs up!!! I love the new rides.. the rooms, the music, the possibility that guests can move your furniture.

Ah yes, I enjoy the furniture ability as well. I only wish that you could control it better, or set limits to it, you know?

My opinion about the updates is this.
I like the new dark rides and ride pieces because it gives more of an illusion of actually a ride and it is similar to the in-park ones. It also gives VMKsters a chance at a new ride-a-thon and new items. :D The hairstyles for girls I could do without though. I am very excited in seeing what all VMK staff releases this month. And I know most everyone is as well. The room furniture
ability is quiet nice as well. However, I do have some negative comments about the updates. For one, the rides are causing me to have more lag and easier crashes. Also, the furnish moving ability should be able to be controlled by the room owner in my opinion or at least have more player-controlled limits. :D
Also, there should be a Peter Pan magic pin in my opinion, like a pixie fairy dust flying pin or something. I can only hope. -sigh-
The new magic pins you can obtain from the new Dark Rides should be more than a one use pin, because it spoils the whole point of having it.

I somewhat like the updates. The rides are nice and all, but sometimes can really lag my computer if I'm trying to multi-task (pm someone here while riding). I also am one that doesn't like the name popping up. I am used to clicking on people. I'm kind of so-so for the updates. I personally thought VMK was fine for a while, but yeah. =3

Love all of the updates. I wouldnt mind finally getting a sword in the stone magic pin LOL but I think all the additions are incredible!

Me i like that how about that in ride a thon we win the dark ride up and down?

I really love the new rides. I can't imagine all the hard work that must have gone into making them! So much attention to detail! It's fun to see people going on them for the first time and "hearing" all the oohs and ahhs. People seem to be really impressed.

I don't mind that the sword magic is so random. I've gotten it a few times, but haven't won. Of course I'd like to win the teacup pin, but I think if they made it super easy to get some of the fun would be taken away from it. I wonder how often they are going to update the prize?

All the other updates seem fine to me too. I do find the name thing a bit annoying now, but I think it's just because I'm not use to it. I'm sure once it's been around for a while I won't mind it, and I can see how it can actually come in pretty handy.

Rides, pins, Sword in the Stone, hovering names, trade window, and clear button thumbs up.

Let guests move items, thumbs down.

Lol, I saw you in that arrange a room game, which was a very unique game, where we..... waited......................and did nothing.

After riding each ride about 25 times, I get the sword in the stone pin to find that I'm not strong enough to pull out the sword :]
Yeah, the new rides are cool, but the sword in the stone pin is frustrating.

I like the moving feature this means new game ideas! We need a change!
I like the new trade window becuase it doesnt say,"Marysol has Addded/Removed _______." Anymore, and you'll wont need to scroll up if somone said anything and you missed it becuase of all thoes un-nessary words.
But I HATE The way the Generators spin now! Its Confussing and whats the point or 7-9 if you cant spin them??

Good Point.

I do not like the pop up titles for two reasons.
1. I do find it distracting.
2. It used to be to see who someone was you clicked on them. By doing this you saw their pins,signature and got an idea of who they might be,(or at least a snap opinion). Now with the pass by and get instant title I think a lot less will be noticing anything but friends they were looking for/room owners/or who they were stalking.

I know, I have a habit of typing: .. all the type!!! When I can't type a period even to end a sentence, I feel so.. improper with my grammar! (See? I did it again - after "so!")

I totally agree! They are EXTREMELY distracting, and pop up when I'm trying to click that space on the floor. I wish there was a disable feature. :( [Like with the trade requests]

Other than that, the rest of the updates rock!

I dont like it that you waste about..hmm 500 credits on dark rides and then you get a magic sword pin and you use it and you dont get nothing. I wish you could just be a maxinmon time for you to get a pin so you dont have to waste alot of money. Just like pirates and the magic treasure pins.

I don't know: Seems like I've been opening a lot more empty treasure chests lately, too.

I like SOME of the new addisions (cant spell) but now I cant play any of my mixes (eather on the street or the monorail) because I crash before I get to the queu, so there go those credits every hour. But now I an able to log in alot faster... that's always good. The rides rock!!! Luckyly I was able to get my sword pin and Tea Party Pin all in my 3rd ride (I was one of the lucky ones) but other than that... it's all kewl. (Love the new hair.. very kewl) ^_^

Empty chests are a bummer, but the "random" award system associated with Pirates is leagues better than the Fantasyland system. First of all, you don't have to pay to open chests (because if you're winning keys, you're earning credits) and second of all, the keys are given for playing a fun game that constantly changes due to player interaction. Who's bright idea was it to charge players to sit through the same ride over and over again, offering them a slight chance that they might earn a magic pin that might get them a decent prize, instead of common furniture? No better way to ruin your new build, VMK.

My personal favorite new feature has to be the ' clear room ' button :D
Although i do could wit out it taking away the photos along with it...
The rides are pretty Kewl, but as many of ya said...i too would like it bettr if there was a different way to get the tea party pin :P
The only thing that annoys me about letting ppl, guests, to move your items is... as the owner you have to make the option available, and by the time you finish with letting everyone move everything, after they finish helping ya, You have to take the option off again 0_o, That annoys me :(
But besides a few minor dislikes id give the new things a ThUmBs Up!
