Do not be alarmed, you have to set your items for guests to be able to move them. Guests can not take your items either. They all will stay in your room and it is your decision to let guests move items.

Well im not going to let peple move my furniture, because there could be bugs in the system where it would let you take.

I'm sure there will be plenty of testing. And only a few bugs.

But still, there could be bugs. And those bugs could lead to Guests taking certain things out of peoples rooms, maybe without even realising . .:easterchild:

You guys have crazy imaginations 0_0 lol (jk)

Yavn wont put it onto the site until he makes sure it is bug free. And it would be a good feature for people that need help making a cafe, hang out, etc. They would make it friends only and ask there friends to help them.

But still, you are right, it is kinda scary to think that someone could take off with your furnish.

You're right. Nothing ever makes it into the public release until all the bugs have been found and repaired.

You're right. Nothing ever makes it into the public game if there are still bugs in it.

I could see the point to using this for games, but if any guest can move any item, well, peole waiting or watching could just interfere with the games.

Then the people interfering with the games will get booted lol.

They really need a - rotate item only - option that would help in some games I can think of. And another option that only allows the player in a closed off area with the items to be able to move them. Because like Neoteny said any peeps in the room would be able to mess with peeps in a game and what's worse is you wouldn't know who it was that was messing with the item. So you wouldn't know who to boot if they didn't play properly.

And also... I messed with the - guest allowed to move items - option and I found out something pretty important. The item in your inventory is set to default of not moveable but once you check the box to make it moveable then if you put it in your inventory without unchecking that box then the item is still moveable the next time you take it out of your inventory. So that could be a big problem if you didn't know that and then you build a room with items that you marked as moveable and then some player comes in your room and messes it all up after you really work hard on it. So that's just a FYI to anyone marking their items as moveable to be sure to unmark them before you put them back in your inventory. And that also means that if you use the - clear room - button then it could make that same mess for you. So I think the - clear room - button should also have a feature you can click that says - return all items to default not moveable mode - .

I'm thinking I just won't use this option at all. At least, not until they address some of these issues.

I have many maze rooms, does this mean I have to go back and make it "not moveable" so people cannot cheat and get to parts of the room that normally you would have to work for?

SuperBillyHill
04-04-2007, 07:37 PM
No, you only have to mark your items not moveable if you mark them moveable. The default is not moveable so anything you already built is fine. :)
