Same here. She said to leave room between players on the ride - there was 6 lengths between me and the person in front of me! You'd think they'd remember the lessons of the ride-a-thons...

Amen! I am in total agreement here. Really - what is 5 credits? Nothing! Only 1/4 of one day's Yeti NPC find.

Wow that was fun, it was a river ride through a bunch of rooms, and at the end there's an Epcot Turnstile you pay 5 credits to go through. Then you can choose one of the seven teleporters to see if you win your prize. I picked a winning porter! I also got to ride the ride right behind VMK_Zoo. Cool Host Event.

I'm 140 in the queu. Yeah it's moving pretty fast. What is the prize? and how many out of how many are winners?

Fast line. There were some Dark Ride pieces, Alice in Wonderland hedges, a red and white checkered rug. The ending room had the old "money taker" turnstile. And I won, Matterhorn Bobsled pin. :)

to release an item that is somewhat similar to a kiosk by making an in-park quest doesn't seem right to me. Who knows, anything can happen, the future isn't written in stone.

You are right, it is the Queen of Hearts croquet bag with her flamingoes inside :)

in 7 munites i moved down 200 people :)

I saw the room with 1 person, by the time I got a VMK pass I was 50+.

Got into the first room no problem, got into the river teleporter, floated into the second room.

Couldn't figure out where I was or what to do. I wasn't in the river. I wasn't in a boat. I wasn't anywhere. Clicked around for a few seconds and saw my avatar walking around the river banks, then step into the river and into a boat.

Floated into the next room, person at the front of the river got stuck. Then everyone got stuck - nobody could move. VMK_Lion and Host_Phinny came into the room, tried to figure it out for a minute, and then basically said "we're sorry, you'll need to exit and start over." Then I was booted. Then VMK crashed (white screen of death)

Apparently I'm not supposed to be goofing off right now.

The Hosts change the winning teleports every now and then so it wouldn't help (or so i heard and i'm sure a few other people would understand, that's why i've never asked...)

I am currently 905, but the lines move pretty darn fast! But the last time that I tried getting in line, I disconnected when I was that first 10 in line.

That was a really weird event.

I won, so I am not complaining, but really weird.

The first time, I crashed in the 4th ride room.
With an event with that many rooms, a lot of people were crashing, before they even got to the turnstile.

I won my second time in.

I tried again on the other computer, for my kids player and with 4 people to go, the room closed a few minutes early!:mad:

I dont see the point in having that many rooms just to get to the teleporter.

The rides were nice, but it was a waste of time, with all of the dc and crashes and lag.

I managed to get in with still 2 hours left. @_@ ( I missed the opening by two minutes, and got in a 421 queue )
The event is alright, suprisingly little lag for that particular event for me today..seems like I was riding alone for most of the rooms.
I also got another bobsled pin.

I got one character in fairly early and then one pretty late. I thought I was sunk on the second character because a bunch of us got stuck in the pirate room (Fin entered the room after a few minutes and cleared the block WOOT WOOT) so I continued and got a second pin on our families characters.

Also, over the past two days...all the dark ride riding has gotten us THREE tea party pins. BIG WOOT!! (hubby has two (and probably will be trading me one), son has one, I have zero LOL)

They took them off because its not 50th anymore.

Woot, I'm actually in some of those pictures :). I wondered what happened to the 50th logo on the chairs too, it makes sense it's gone now though. It's just off of the director's chairs that haven't been released to us, right?
