Vmk has many flaws, in your opinion, which is the worst?

Um, okay I think its really rude to say that the people who help maintain VMK and keep it in charge are "flaws". If Staff/Host weren't there then VMK wouldnt be possible. I know they aren't the greatest at times, but still there is no need to put them down.

Then the host events. Impossible to get into, and pointless in the end.

not being able to type periods at all...it is annoying when i try to do ".." i cant!!! >_< I NEED THE PERIODS BACK B.C. I DO ".." WHEN THERE IS AN AKWARD SILENCE. + there are alot of akward silences in the rooms i go into!!

I feel VMK has lost its original magic it had about the first six, seven months since it had opened. Before you would see staff everywhere, public rooms or their own rooms, now you only see them if there is some sort of problem or host games. The period being gone is a bit rediculous even though I understand why they took it away.

I have several complaints...
1) No PERIODS >_< !!!!! I need them back
2) That you can't say a word or symbol more than 2 times @_@
3) New fireworks, I hate it, and im sure many ppl do
4) The fact that a lot of times Vmk closes (they should do that AFTER or before Vmk opens)
5) The Really BAD lag, i get sometimes ESPECIALLY the morning Lag
6) Not being allowed to say the words like 'Hard' *Wat is so wrong about that!*

Well thats about all i can think of rite now... But seriously I hope MelodyRose is rite....Plz be a AFJ :(

I agree 100% with you.

I also am annoyed with the black screens.

1. Banning people for saying they are disabled.
2. Banning for reasons that are inane and any ban should be for a week or two unless it is something really bad like cheating, theft, vulgar language.
3. The dictionary stinks. "I did eat" instead of "I ate".
4. I lost a friend over the ride building competition where we were disqualified but I got the prize anyways. The competitions are not fair to the poor, the people who cannot be on for very long, and new people.
5. Anyone with $500 can buy DVDs and other merchandies and go to parks and do quests while the rest of us do not get the stitch stuff, the dreams stuff, and all that other stuff.
6. How quests and prizes are given in park. Who remembers when the cards for the gold doors were handed by the hundreds to guests.
7. Taking so long to finally make the games so you get credits if you lose. I get 5 ghosts, fireworks or pirate ships then I should get paid for that.
8. I did not get the eye pin but other people other lots of them. i cannot be on every minute and there was no way for me to get the pin.
9. Staff games are set so that people can take 5 accounts per game and run then through the game and then make a profit from the pin and stuff.
10. The diving pin etc. from tomorrowland stinks. Not everyone has the time, abilities or computer to play certain games. It made it so that in the last quest that only those players who could get a diving pin could play. I had to let a friend take my spare account and get me the space pin. Others paid friends to get those pins.
11. Grog is an alcoholic beverage so why was it kept in the dictionary?

13. What happened to the days when we would be in staff rooms chatting. Staff no longer mingles with us little people. Some staff at the end were actually making their rooms for friends only so that only CLs could get in.
14. over a year of putting up with crashing and still I crash in the music game sometimes. Why did it take so long.
15. People who use mules to win prizes in fireworks.
16. Lack of decent stuff to build in rooms.
17. Releasing again stuff.
18. Lack of cheap fun clothes for new people. You get to VMK and you are stuck with street clothes and maybe if you are luck the cheerleader outfit.
19. i been here since September 2005 and it is the same stuff. Same ugly tables, chairs and crates. Can we please have some new furniture.
20. I make dinner at 5 pm so when is staff games? Waiting in line and you are #189 but the game is over. I have entered a game the first minute and was over 800th in line.

CL's.Yes they are nice but I don't think it is fair. Because half of the CL's are day 1.Not fair.

1. Community Leaders. I don't really see a major point in the system, anyone can help someone.

2. Taking out the period. Yes, people can use it in a bad way, but not very many people dictionary dance or say something majorly bad with it. I thought that VMK/Disney would promote proper grammar, but guess not o_o.

3. Stitch hat only in Disneyland. I think and have always thought that it should be in WDW too, why just there? People book trips to WDW too.

4. Contact Us. It seems like if we have a problem (like the whole period ordeal) they tell us to send it into Contact Us. It's like a black hole and they need to actually read my complaints ;).

5. Releasing a hat again in a different color and releasing huge hats. Okay, I was really annoyed by this "Holiday Hat Green", it's like a santa hat, not a St. Patrick's Day hat! As for the huge hats, I'm not really a fan of them. Why can't they release hats like the princess hat size, or sorcerer ears? I'm glad when VMK adds new hats for different movies, such as Aladdin and Alice in Wonderland, but why so big?

Banning and VMK losing it's Magic

1. Dictionary dancing/improper use of grammar: I wish VMK would expand the dictionary to enable most users to have appropriate conversations without resorting to dictionary dancing, homophones, or other measures that will generate bad habits that probably won't remain with just VMK - and this includes bringing back those dots that should be used at the end of sentences (periods). I know that some words shouldn't be in VMK - but in regards to most of the appropriate words that aren't included in the dictionary because they could be used inappropriately, I wish VMK would ban those who choose to misuse the words rather than these words themselves.

2. Taken/'bay be': Why anyone would want to use VMK to play 'house' is beyond me, I believe that taken is highly inappropriate in a family game, and the baby talk is just annoying. Need I say more?

3. Jake and Haley: I find them highly annoying and their use of the English language is, in my opinion, dreadful. I think that VMK should use Jake and Haley (if they must exist) to encourage the use of proper grammar and convey important messages, not the instant message/texting vocabulary they use to talk about absolutely nothing of consequence.

Wow! I am surprised no one has said VMK's worst flaw of all time was MrGenie's experiment. I have to disagree with everyone here, although ChristyGirlYa has a good point about her top five. For those that didn't know about VMK at the time, MrGenie made an experiment, and VMK allowed it. The experiment was MrGenie opened his guest room, and there was no limit to the number of people in it, so people kept coming, and it had lots of disconnection and everything.

very true that vmk has lost its magic, im getting on right now.
all they need to do is clean up instead of add new stuff to put clutter in.
they need to enforce their rules, there is too much taken now. im not saying the old days were awesome and they didnt have taken, they did but it wasnt as bad.

The dictionary, the dictionary, and the dictionary.

Not just the whole period thing, but the dictionary as a whole needs to be better maintained and expanded.

There is no good reason to exclude words such as "head," "hard," "whole," "coming," "beach," and so on. Yes, those words could potentially be misused, but why should those of us who would use them properly be punished for the actions of a few bad people?

VMK, don't ban the words. Ban the people who misuse them.
