View Full Version : Let's keep the wiki fool-free.
Garfieldo 03-31-2007, 04:29 PM I'd like to request that nobody mess around with the wiki tomorrow. I know, it's April Fools', but unlike the forums, where the fools' threads can just die down, edits to the wiki will have to be fixed. I guess if there's something you really want to do, you can go ahead and do it, as long as you make sure to be the one to clean it up after April Fools'. :}

I agree with ye 100%!
Lets see what NEoteny has to say..

I'd rather see no foolishness on the Wiki at all, even if you do intend to clean it up yourself later. There's plenty of room on the Forums for announcing that Dancing Inferno Magic Pin Blue is available in the Inner Space Shop for 10,000 credits. There's no need to soil the Wiki with it.
StitchMad 03-31-2007, 04:51 PM I agree. Thanks for posting.
alubadubdub 03-31-2007, 05:05 PM Woah, tomorrow is April Fools Day? Thanks for reminding me.
but anyways, yes I completely agree with that because I'm sure some people would not clean up their changes.

Yup. Even though all you need to do is look through a page's history, it's still a pain to clean up someone else's mess, especially when you're not being paid.
Wow, I suddenly have a high respect for moderators.
JeannieV 03-31-2007, 11:25 PM I will add that I too agree to this. NO "Fooling" on the Wiki..and as for the forums..DO NOT START something you can not fix afterwords. TY
Oranges 04-01-2007, 01:30 AM I'm not even sure I want those fool threads on the forums - I'd rather read something realistic than reading a thread with a first post consisting of the words "Hahaha gotcha, Happy April Fool's Day"... :mad:

Do we have to check this? :Tongue: :pinkbun:

I'm with you. Very few of them, if any, are going to be funny. But there's really nothing that can be done to stop them. It's just one of those traditional things.
Still, we can hope that the Wiki editors will respect the sacredness of the Wiki and keep it fool-free.

I agree! If you're going to make an April Fools' thread (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50367&highlight=virtual+six+flags), at least put some effort into it.
PaperClip 04-03-2007, 12:11 AM It is a real pain to clean up all that garbage that might have been there. But, I would like to agree with everyone as well. Other than being offencive.
