:hop: I've made a poem on rain!!! It's free-verse so it won't rhyme. Really and truly I just put my thoughts on paper and they sounded poetic so I made it into lines

Here it is:



Rain

Lightning stretches its arms across the sky, creating false sunlight.
Thunder roars like a lion, ready to pounce on it’s prey.
The rain seems out of place, but still in the right place, somehow.
See, the rain has followers… friends – if you may.
Whereas the thunder and lightning strike with lonesome power,
But with such great force.

But still in a way you can see that lightning is sad,
That it only wants someone to come with it,As does thunder.

So as the lightning strikes and the thunder howls, think of the rain.
Think of how it never yells or hurts.
Think of how it never frightens or laughs.
It just falls from the sky,
With its friends it’s rewarded with.
