Well i've been on and i've noticed the "hello, i must be going" thread has been closed. why is this? its been a good source of seeing people leave and friends KNOWING they're leaving

Because we renamed the Welcome Forum to Greetings and Goodbyes (http://www.vmkforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=65) and we're letting users start their own goodbye threads instead of posting to that monster thread.

Oh thats a nice idea. I like that better then the thread of sadness.

VMKF's created a cat. for just that, so we don't have to all post in a new thread and maybe our friends won't know. ;)
