hmm thx for the info. so fair all im seeing is yavn telling us we'll be having this and this and none of it comming true (yet). like a turnsitle(still in testing) Flying carpet magic (told to come out halloween of 2005) other stuff too.

The animation viewer. It spins when you click on it.

It's similar to the Salad Spinner, which is used to get rid of the water after you wash lettuce (so your salad doesn't get all soggy). You wash the lettuce, put it in the spinner, and keep pushing the big button on the top of the spinner to make the basket spin around. It causes all the water to fly off the lettuce. Here's a picture of a Salad Spinner:

drat....drat....drat.....
i had 12 friends that went to DL today and they just turned in the HSM quest printout, POTC and Animation.
Now they can't get those 2 new quest prizes since they are not able to go on April 1st. phewy!

I think I might just have to stop by Disneyland for a bit next week. Gotta convince the missus first, though. Wish me luck!

Now....can we get the Spring card if we already did the other 3 quests of HSM/POTC/ANimation like say a week ago and then we do the new Tomorrowland quest when it's out?? Do we get credit for doing those other 3 or all 4 need to be done at same time?? There goes the 90 day wait period then for APs - would have to wait till mid June to get all 4 quests turned in at same day and to get the spring special prize card.

The fast pass didn't show up since the CM said you had to complete 4 quests but THERE ISN"T a 4th quest to complete if there's only 3 currently out.
That was a big bummer since my friends and their kids wanted the Fast Passes for the BUSY, Crowded day at DLR today Friday. VMK should have fixed their computers to give out the Fast Passes for the 3 current quests completed.

Oh, and there was the box VMK Pirates pins out in Downtown Disney at WOD and the Pin trading station near Monorail entrance. If anyone is looking for those pirate pins sets....

My experience with both Jacques and Eric in VMK Central at WDW is that they NEVER tell you what is coming out when. I highly doubt that this information is reliable. Who is the "head cast member"?

You get to pick from:
Space Mtn
Indiana Jones
Roger Rabbit Spin
Buzz Lightyear
Autopia

I think these were the only choices to pick from and you pick 2 rides.
These special fast passes are in addition to any other fastpasses you have in hand that you normally can't get another one till a certain time elapse.

I was at DLR on March 18 and they told me it was last day for the tomorrowland quest- shout out to the kiosk dude that gave me and my friend an extra TELEPORTATION WOOT!
On a sad note-there were no Mickey cards out yet- Boo!

I went to WDW yesterday and turned in the Animation viewer, Pirate, Thrill Seeker and High School Musical quests. They claimed to have no know of when the Mickey rug is coming out and they never mentioned the FastPass. That would have come in very handy yesterday!

They did have the boxed pin sets though.

Since somebody has resurrected this old thread, I just thought I call attention to this post, which clearly shows that VMK had no idea what was going to happen and when. As we all know by now, the Mickey Rug never came out at either park, the quests have been discontinued altogether at Disneyland, and Neoteny has always been crazy.
