I'm American since over 150 years ago. There's a cemetery in a old town by where we live and peeps from our family have graves there from 1880. And those peeps came here for the Gold rush so that's a pretty long time ago :) But I also have a little bit of native American so I guess I'm pretty much American either way, lol.

If we live in America, our culture is American, if we live in England, our culture is English, if we live in the Dominican Republic, our culture is Dominican, etc.

So, I think what you are asking is, where are our families and/or ancesters from?
So my dad's family is German and Irish, and my mom is from Columbia. I am an American!

I do have some Native American ancestors very far back --> my closest Native American ancestor would be my great-great-great-great-great-grandmother who was a Blackfoot. What's crazy is that I have a picture of her that was taken around 1850.

Well, my culture is American. My ancestry includes German, Scottish, Native American and whatever else may be thrown in there.

Parts of my family have been here since before the Revolutionary War (in fact, I'm descended from William Clark) and other parts have only been here for little over 100 years.

I nevr knew there was so many types of cultures the know about vmk/vmkforums
Well, considering that VMKF is actually avaialble internationally, there are people here from pretty much everywhere. Plus, most Americans are basically mutts. Meaning that most of us come from various ancestries and not many are 100% pure anything. :)
