My Friend says that this hat is fake, even though i shoes him a pic. Can anyone please tell him that this is a real hat and that there are only two of them in VMK?

Yes. It is a real hat. It is impossible to get them now.

The two people who have them are named something like Baby I think, and then Soarin'Soarin'. They obtained the hats by a glitch in the system when making their account. It showed up in their inventory, and STAFF let them keep it.

Of course, had they allowed her to keep the mask, we probably would have complained that we didn't each get one, too. Man, we'll complain about anything. How ungrateful we are!

Well, I'm not in the mask loop, so I don't know what mask you speak of. As far as Baby keeping his hat - he got it in Alpha (before Beta). It's not a glitch, so he is specifically allowed to have the hat.

When all is said and done, the VMK team can do what they want. The more they try to make things "fair" the less "fair" things are. If they want to make some things rare and other things not, then that's how they want it. If they want there to be a limited number of some things (Pirate w/ Bird Hat, Red Rockers, Gold Ariels, etc.) then that's up to them.

Who cares if not everyone gets everything. Who said that's how VMK was supposed to be in the first place? Just play the game and have fun with what you do and what you have.

Just remember, lots of people complained about Fireworks, so they tried to appease those complaints. Now most of those who complained don't like the Remixed and don't play it all that often (and a lot of those who didn't complain don't play the Remixed now, btw). The same thing will happen with whatever you complain about - the VMK team will try to fix it, then others will complain. Just let them make the game the way they envision it.



EDIT: Oh, and since this thread is about the Pirate Hat with the Bird, that's why I was clearing up the confusion about it with my first post. This thread isn't a rant about one person having something that others don't, so that discussion really isn't relevant here.

I'm not sure if it's Ned or Soarin' but I'm pretty sure one of them has the hat for doing something for the testers. And sometimes Baby lets people borrow the hat so it looks like there are more then one. Hehehe, I remember when he was stuck with the hat. Good times.
