The set that came with a real pin and a vmk card? Is it sold in the park or outside. what stores have you seen it in thanks for the help

Yes, they do. You can find them at most in-park and Downtown Disney shopping locations around the property.

You have search the major pin trading stores. I found these following locations seem to have them on stock most of the time I visit:

Store Command- Tomorrowland (Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters Exit)
PT Flea's Market- a bug's land- CA Adventure
Disney's Pin Traders- outside the Downtown Disney Monorail Station

You can also try:
Silver Spur- Frontierland (across from shooting gallery)
La Mascarade d'Orleans- back side of New Orleans Square
