I keep having nightmares about like something happening to a ride i'm riding on and then i get hurt and stuff i don't know maybe i'm just crazy. I should be excited but i have these nightmares and i feel like something is giong to happen.
Please, help me feel better...how do you get something that's on your mind just off your mind so you can be comfortable again? I know probably nothing will appen but i'm just scared idk lol i just probably totally confused you...hopefully not

dinodave 03-22-2007, 06:45 AM lol you just have to have faith that nothing is going to happen ;) except have fun
comic_dreams 03-22-2007, 06:52 AM Actually, im afraid for you. It's scary to have so much fun in a day.
sakusan 03-22-2007, 08:02 AM I suggest avoiding any specifics of the accident in your nightmares.
I.E.- person you're sitting next too, certain ride, time of day, etc.
It worked for me once(long story)
Just try to have fun.
Caterpillar AEIOU 03-22-2007, 08:31 AM When my neice was 4, she used to have nightmares that the Huffalumps and woozles from the Winnie the Pooh ride, were going to "get her'.
If it makes you feel any better, go to City Hall, and ask for the Safety and Mantience records of all attraction, they have then for anyone that ask, it's a law or something.
Be very careful, the Cast of the High School Musical Pep Rally may follow you home!
Thenishall 03-22-2007, 12:18 PM I remember when I was, eh, 4 perhaps, I went on the Snow White ride, and was scared out of my mind. The next year I went I thought "positive thoughts", and I was fine.
Be careful, your fire alarm in your hotel might go off the day before. (Of course, it happened to me)
snowgalsnow 03-22-2007, 12:56 PM ok well disney cant be scary as my friends haunted house they put up her halloween ( her dad is a stage director and my friend gets to meet the famous people :) ) well anyway he gets the stuff from his job and puts it together and gets all actors and they always come over by u and stand there and stare at u!
PinkTinkPixie 03-22-2007, 04:49 PM Have you read Kingdom Keepers? I have a friend whor read, it, and ever since then, she's been a bit more scared of Disneyland than normal.
All I can say is that Nothing's going to happen when you're at a place like Disneyland :) Well, anything can happen, but it's not likely. Don't worry :) Just have fun while you're there.

It's easy, something that I do before I visit Walt Disney World...
SCREEEEEAAMMM!
TikiRoom 03-22-2007, 06:57 PM At Disneyland, there isn't much to be afraid of. Just keep your seatbelt fastens, keep all hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the vehicle, and you will be safe :)
autoalice 03-22-2007, 07:33 PM What injuries have happened in the park that I have heard about have often been cause by someone doing something stupid. The last one I remember hearing about was a couple ladies falling off the tram from the parking lot. One tried to get up and move, lost her balance, started to fall so the person she was with tried to grab her and they both ended up falling off. Um...my son can practically recite the recording they play telling you not to do that because we've heard it so many times now.
Use common since, be safe and you'll be fine.
I have dreams like that too. I see them as a warning of an event that I have the power to prevent from happening. If I start to see something that makes me feel like "this is the situation" I make a point to be careful and pick a different path.
You'll be OK.
Have fun!!
jackanddabeat 03-22-2007, 11:48 PM Just imagine all the AAs intheir underwear. Worked for me. Corse, therapy has in order but...
spot41414 03-22-2007, 11:51 PM Disneyland is very fun. :D
The most scary thing that can happen (if you follow the rules) is the ride getting stuck. The boredom scares you.

BooBear05 03-22-2007, 11:55 PM The first time I traveled alone I was petrified! Here's a little trick that might help. Make a list of everything you'll need on your vacation. Help your parents pack, making sure you check off everything on that list. This will put your focus on packing, not travel or any other fears. Check out Disney's website and plan what you want to see and do. Write it all down. Get with your parents and start working up a schedule. Make a list of people you wish to send postcards to, complete with addresses. Don't forget to buy postcard stamps! Focus on the fun and try not to think about anything going wrong. How can it? You've got the whole trip planned, checked and double-checked! Right? Yes! You'll have a BLAST!!! Make sure you don't forget to print out all your vmk quest cheats! LOL
Hope you have an AWESOME time! Woot, you!
avastkeith 03-23-2007, 12:43 AM hehe your posts are helping, but i'm not mainly scared about things that can happen because of me doing something silly, but other stuff that can happen idk my brother has been telling me these stories but i can't really tell you because it's not all G-RATED....but thx for the replies
technical difficulties and doing something silly is not what i'm mainly afraid of, but i guess i have to just trust that nobody will do anything, right?
Oh and ty CL_GreenieMimi for that excellent post, but Disneyland is 20 minutes away LOL!!!! i'm just going for the day. Thanks anyways though :)
Feel free to post some disneyland nightmares you've had and tell me how you got over them! Thx :)
