I tried to sign up on the POTC Online thing, but it won't let me. I put 1900 for birthdate, but it still said I had to be 13 or older! Know what's wrong, anyone?

well, i think that disney thinks anyone who puts that year down is a kid trying to say he/she is older than the required age. other than that, a onehundered year old person is probably old enough do not know what to do..

LOL I mean, I put a bunch of other years (Definitely more recent than that), such as 1990 (that's not my birthday, though) but it wouldn't work!!

Well, sometimes when you have to be a certian age, it usually has material not suitable for children under that age, like Jurassic Park, it had material too intense for children under 13.

I am not trying to be mean or anything, but it sounds like you are not happy because the game found a way to keep younger players from entering the game. Your profile says you are younger than 13 so maybe there is a good reason for you not being able to play a game that you have to be 13 or older to play.

Once again, I am not trying to be mean, but that is how I see this situation.

LOL Miss. I know what was wrong-You signed up. Than it said you were too little. You went to sign up again making your year earlier. Disney is smart, they KNOW it's you going back a page. So they wont let you sign up. But if you close out of your broswer than go back to the site, It should work.

Of course they won't let you play your 107 Years old. The cannon fire might give you a coronary! Must be an insurance thing.

I was about to say this ;) I know I was about to sign up for Habbo Hotel, and I am only like a month away from teh cut off, but in my real date, it said I was too young, tried making myself two years older, and got a message saying I must wait like 2 hours before trying to sign up again -_-

Im kinda ticked. Is the game already open for playing? 'cuz I got a email that said ' coming soon ' or something. And I don't know how to get into the game. Anybody know anything on this?

Poor Grandpa Earl never read the small print.

I agree with what everyone's saying.. you should really just wait for the game to be a bit more suitable.
You can always try signing up later.

Well I can understand why is 13 and older. Both POTC 1 and 2 were PG-13 mostly because of the violence and shocking images. :p Even though it's really not. Anyways... the online game might be the same thing as a the movie. It might involve violence.

That IS the whole reason it's for 13 year olds and up. Since the movie is.

If you are old an enough to watch the movie, then it should work for you. My cousin is 12 and watched it in theaters, tho..
