Do u think it's a good idea for there to be 15 items and not over so u don't get scammed by a CL_ or another player? Plz post your answer and why. I'm trying to decide wheather i should do 15 items or more. Plz don't be affected by what i have said be honest and everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

It is entirely possible to have an offer of 15 items or less that is worth a stitch hat. The best items for this offer would be sparrow parts, the eye pin, and haunted mansion clocks (just my opinion). However, try not to be so skittish about making a large trade. There are many players that can be trusted to make large trades. The important thing is to either use a leader or another player that you trust to hold the hat during the trade, or insist that the hat is in the first trade.
If anything about the person seems suspicious, trust your instincts and do not trade. If the person doesn't have the hat and "has to go get it" or promises to get the hat after you trade your items, don't trade. If the person says teh hat is in the window but you can't see it, don't trade. If the person immediately refuses to let anyone else, especially a leader, hold the hat, it is probably a scam - do not trade.
The most important thing is to trust your instincts and do not be afraid to walk away from a potential trade. If you have a good offer, you will have plenty of opportunities to get the hat, but it will only take one scammer to set you back for a long time.
Good Luck, I hope you get yout hat.

Comminty leaders dont scam.. ive never heard of a community leader scamming and i dont think they would risk losing their CL badge and possibly being banned for stealing stuff, sorry.

Oh, it happens. Don't trust someone just because he or she has the CL_ name. Only go with someone you know.

Almost all the community leaders ive met would never scam, the only community leaders to be risky with are the brand new ones that have never helped anybody anyways, but if you meet a CL who has been one for a year or more they are probably trust worthy

Neo is right, it is best to go with someone you know. I have acted as a trade supervisor for players I did not know. I wrote down both names, and made sure the items to trade were in fact up to trade ( it was a Stitch Hat for a room full of furniture - about 60 items). I do not hold things (in case of a disconnect) but watch and make sure both sides are happy. If it it makes the players more honest, I've done a service. If someone leaves without fulfilling their end, all I could do is report them - I just hope my report might hold a little extra weight being a leader. Sometimes it is reputation on this board that might make people trust you more, but I am excruciatingly honest, working with kids as a profession, and if i can ensure a safe experience on line I'll do my best.
