i was just reading the newsletter when i saw that awsome chair also i looked in the background and could no see any rooms know so they may be a new room ( room looks like a book to me )

I believe its the GIF file with AiW characters that has them going on this. I don't see it happening, at the most we would get AiW furniture.

No, Alice in Wonderland Platinum Edition is not coming out next month, or even this year. I think it was released already a few years ago, but not as part of the Platinum Series. The only other film out this year part of that collection is The Jungle Book, and next March it will be 101 Dalmations.

Hmm....looking at the titles of the events in April on the VMK calendar it doesn't look like there are any Alice in Wonderland themed ones, but they aren't very descriptive at this point.

Based on the picture Yvan posted in the newsletetter it does seem like there will be *something* Alice in Wonderland coming out soon though....maybe Cheshire Cat magic? Doesn't Alice ask him "which way she should go" at one point in the movie? Could that be why Yvan is hinting that we should save up our credits because there will be something expensive to buy soon? So many things it could be! We can't possibly know for sure (and it's fun to speculate but make sure not to present anything as FACT), but I can't wait to find out!

No, I believe that the picture that suggest Alice in Wonderland is a picture of a new Guest Room. That looks alot the like background of the Tron room, or the Blue Bayou public one. Probably not a month though.

I'd be happy with an Alice room, and possibly some new items to go with it.

I'd be even happier with a whole Fantasyland month, with new rooms and several new things to go with them.

I'd be absouletely extatic with a month for each land- and maybe some focusing on other "lands" in various Disney parks.

On Yavn's blog, he did say Alice and Wonderland was one of his favorite movies. I wouldn't be suprized.

Now I'm starting to get ideas.

I just dont know the only proof we have is the Chair for whatever it is that was in the newsletter. Nothing in the Events section says much of actually anything. Therefore they havent planned out April yet. I say we wait and try our best to NOT make this theroy into a fact.

I wonder why the room is so dark... it definately isn't in Alice in Wonderland. To me it looks like part of a movie studio. Also notice the ropes? film? on the ground. The events they have up for April seem to do with transportation.

Yeah the floor is wooden and i dont remember a wooden floor or ropes in the movie Alice in Wonderland. But if it does come out to be Alice in Wonderland stuff that's basically awesome.

In the picture there are circular figures in the back and most people believe they are ropes.

Note: in the alice in wondeland ride in DLR, the items in this picture (i guess the pencil, etc.) are lit by a black light to make them look bright and colorful while the background looks dark. I am not sure what this months theme is, but me thinks that it will be like January, where there really is no declared theme and we get December stuff to spill over (though in our case we get March to spill over), just a guess though.

For Halloween they released another Haunted Mansion suit and another cowboy shirt, when there were so many other things they could have done. And just this month they released another spacesuit, when there were so many other things they could have done. And let's not forget about the so-called "St. Patrick's Day Hat." If there's an easy way out, count on the VMK "design" team to find it.

Maybe we'll get a new Mad Tea Party room in a different color. :(

What has been proven true? Your theory, at least according to the title of this thread, is that the theme for April is Alice in Wonderland. The newsletter does not say that. The newsletter mentions that an Alice ride will be added to VMK at some point, but it doesn't say that it will be in April (It says, "soon," which is the same thing we were told about the Epcot Turnstile months ago and about the Flying Carpet Magic Pin years ago), and it doesn't say that it will be the theme of the month.

There does need to be some incentive to ride (after the first time, anyway, when I'm sure we're all going to be eager to give it a try), especially as there will be a ride fee involved.

The ride might also be a fun (or frustrating) place to hide quest items.

Maybe the Host games will give out special furniture and not pins ( I Hope!) They will have Ride-A-Thon for up and down pieces. Alice originally was released to theaters on July 28, 1951 and was first published on 4 July 1865 so maybe we will get something special on those days. I also think they will have the New Fantasy In-Park Quest that will give out some of the prizes. And the best one on how to get all this stuff is to trade, Lol. Right Neoteny.;)
