Well as you all have known, there are MANY changes that were happening this past year, and it helps vmk players! Do you think VMK is getting more fair? By these reasons:


1.) Fireworks- I know you all think this is unfair, but I think it makes it fair for everyone! People have gotten credits easily from this game, but alot of people have trouble with it, so to make it fair, the new fireworks remix makes it fair for credits :D

2.) Host Game Schedules- As alot of you have seen, there has been host games starting from 11:30 am till 1:30 pm, It's to help east coast people who have dinner or need to go to sleep in the regular host game times.

3.) VMK Pass- Now people can get in host line, instead of the same people over and over.

4.) Rereleasing previously retired items so that newer players can get them. ( Thanks to Neoteny )

1.) Fireworks- yes it is fair. it is totally fair to play fireworks for ten minutes, and only get five hundred credits. that is so fair, that it rocks. i could just play pirates for two minutes and get 200 credits.

2.) Host Game Schedules- well, some of us are west coast people. some of us have school, and dont get home until 3:30. so yeah, it so totally fair that east coasters get to be in line first, making it so that west coasters have to wait hours in line.

3.) VMK Pass- this is fair. seriously. its just that the wait is too long now.. so it makes it way fair for east coasters

Well looking at your point of view, i see how what they changed is getting more unfair..

But we got to think of the other point of view. I mean you thought it was fair the old way,but looking at it another way how they changed it, It wasn't fair for the others.
I think vmk is trying to make things better.

Also they took away the 100 credits if you get empty treasurechest.. :stpat_01:
and who knows, they probably will take away or restart the community leader system bc they took away that option in vmk. Im not too sure tho

I think it is mostly fair, I agree that to me at least, fireworks is a waste of time. Why waste my time gaining only 300 credits since i'm not very good when I could play pirates and get that much quicker. I think it's a little unfair that people o the east coast get to play games twice. The games for people on the west coast are during the time I eat dinner so I don't always get to play those games. And then the earlier ones are much too early and I get home at 2. I personally prefered the games that started later for the east coast and were still earlier, but it's nice that vmk considers everybody.

1. Yes, this is totally fair, even though I get fewer points, because now everyone gets points every game instead of just a few.

2. Host game schedule will never please everyone, so varying times is a good idea.

3. VMK pass is completely fair - everyone has a chance to get in, although it will be a long wait, but it beats the previous way where some of us NEVER got in.

4. Nice for newer players, but not fair to those who have been playing longer.

I'm not on east coast or west coast, and the times aren't perfect for me, either; i miss some becuase I am at work, and others are pretty late, but unless they run the games all day long there is no way to make it convenient for everyone.

I do agree that some of the changes are completely not fair,...

And reading the newsletter, of how they'll change the queue and give pre-approved names to guests, vmk is changing bit by bit, to help more ppl :D

I don't think it's possible for VMK to make everyone happy. The problem with massive, multi-player games is that everyone will have his/her own opinions regarding how the game should be run and there are bound to be differing points of view. For every potential change that VMK could make, there will be at least one person who liked that aspect of the game the way it was and didn't want it changed.

I think VMK is listening to us and trying to change the game to make us happy - but they can't please everyone. I'd suggest trying out the changes and see if they grow on you - if you don't like them after a few weeks, submit constructively-phrased feedback to the 'Contact Us' link and, if enough people agree with you, maybe VMK will change it again.

I am for just about anything that breaks up the old time, fraternity of long-timers that are all buddy-buddy with the hosts. The CL system needs to go into the rubbish bin, too. So I would say it's more fair now, will be even more as they re-release all the old stuff.

In my opinion, the VMK Team is more focusing on the features of VMK, rather than adding more features and not working on the older ones.

See I think this could be the problem if it is true. (We really would never be able to find out) Now I think they should work on adding more features so people will not be as focused on some negative things they may feel are happening in VMK.

taht is all fair and i love it how ppl are not just thinking about their wants but other ppls wants.
