VMK got really laggy for me, and even though I finally saw the room with only about 77 people in line, I ended up at number 348. I don't know if I'll have a chance to play before the event closes.

VMK pass will sometimes lag you, but it's ok.

There are 6 mats, Sparky will spin the generator, person will move 1 space according to their mat #

Off topic: How was sparky born in park if he is a HOST?

It's a long game, basically it's a "Don't hit the floor" type of game, but it's 8 times you need to hit your number.

I was the first winner, and AceBugdozer didn't start off too good.

In any case, this is a very slow-moving game, with a very slow-moving queue. A lot of people are going to be disappointed when they don't even get in to try for their one-in-six chance of winning.

HOST_Sparky is usually around whenever I see yavn (which is not much) so he probably knows when the turnstile will be out.

So you have to pay five credits for a completely luck-based game? Not too fun. I liked the last race game he had much better, from last month. That was fun, and depended on the players, not a random-number generator, and it was far more orginal.

It depended on the players' computers, not on the players themselves. I think a race themed game based purely on luck, rather than who does or doesn't happen to have lag at the moment, is a lot more fair.

Now, Fin's race from Friday, with the river ride pieces, was actually pretty clever. There were actual obstacles and a bottleneck that slowed things down just enough to to allow the people with a little lag a few seconds to catch up with their teammates, without giving anyone an unfair advantage. With Sparky's last race, whoever was ahead after that first turn was pretty much the winner, which really means that whoever saw him say 'go' first won. I know it's got to be tough to make a race game that is both fun and fair, but that is not the way I would go about it.

But I agree, the five credit entrance fee is a bit odd. It's not as though vmk needs the credits...

They're just testing the turnstile. Seems to be working a lot better.

The 5-credit fee was probably to help test the turnstile, like yavn's turnstile test.

I'm 2-0, too. I was actually the next to last person in, and when it was our turn there were just the two of us left, so I got to go on any of the numbers 1-3 and my opponent got to go on 4-6. I ended up winning, and then he gave both of us pins at the end for being good sports during the game, which I thought was really cool. It was weird though being the last two in a game where six could get in. I was so relieved to make it in, and I barely did.

Ok. I realized this morning that I messed up on my record. I'm really 2-1 in Sparky's events. I forgot about the first week during Chase Race where I came to the event two times. I lost the first time and won the second. Sorry for the mistake! ;)

You just serach Host_ several minutes before the game starts. Don't click too fast, that creates lag. Just click every few seconds, and right when it appears, click on it and then click 'Enter Room' asap.

I prefered the other one, might've been longer but it seemed fun.

Hehe, let me guess why. Because chances are, you wouldn't get back into the room if you lost, considering there'd be at least a thousand people infront of you? Well, if that's what you meant, you've got a point. All the same, it makes the pin worth just about nothing, because who knows how many people just got the pin today.

Though that doesn't really matter. I just wanted another pretty looking pin. :Tongue:
