Will open every day this month after host game! WOOT! :D

Hello peeps :) SuperBillyHill here with a fun new game for you to play during green month. :) The game is titled - Plant a forest - and it plays like this.. 3 peeps come in and sit it the green Aladdin chairs. Each player has sand, water, and 2 typhoon lagoon tree trunks. The idea is to put water on the sand, then plant 2 trees. I put a generator next to the player whose turn it is and they spin. 1, 2 and 3 and are the good spins. That stands for 1: reduce, 2: recycle and 3: reuse :) The first 1, 2 or 3 you spin gets u water on your sand so it can be ready for planting a tree. For every 1, 2 or 3 you spin after that you get a small palm tree planted in the water on the sand. The first player to have water on the sand and 2 trees planted is our winner :) The players that didn't win exit the red turnstile to the - Please Try Again - room. The winner exits the green turnstile and gets sent to a lush forest full of water and nice green things with tikis to guard against any intruders ;) They play a easy one task quest (u just smile to win your prize). I haven't had a lot of players yet but I did have to make a few small changes to make the game run more smooth yesterday so today after the host game was the first time I got to run it for very long with it running smooth. This is the - Please Try Again - room. It's very dry and the only trees are dead and kinda spooky. ;) There's not any peeps planting trees here so only a few cactus grow but it's mostly stuff there that isn't so great to look at.

This is the - Prize Winners - room. :D Peeps have planted trees here and kept them watered so it's green and very nice to look at. ;)

The peeps that win the game go through a river teleporter that takes them to the quest machine. They play the quest with one easy task (all u do is smile) and the quest machine awards the prize :) That makes it so peeps can't win over and over again and also keeps the game moving faster because I don't have to stop to trade the winner. ;)

I've used the idea myself, and so have many others. You have a quest running with a simple question, and you only allow winners to do the quest.

Yup :) I don't know who had the idea first to award prizes that way but it's a great idea. TopazR's game - Don't lose your trunks - was the first place I ever saw it in VMK but idk if she was the first ever. But it's a great idea :) I don't want peeps to think I'm trying to take credit for that idea though.

Tyvm to everyone for coming and playing today :) I had a fun time hosting the game. I will be open again tomorrow but maybe a little later because I have some stuff to do. And yes hill, we did have peeps spin for you while you were gone, LOL! But please don't be afk in a game room tho.

Most of the peeps played really well and everything went smooth pretty much today :) I feel bad when I have to boot a afk player but I have to because it's not fair to make all the peeps in line wait for one person that goes afk when it's their turn to play. So sorry to anyone I booted but I just had to do it to be fair. The main thing I always try my best my best to do in my games is make them fair. :)

Oh, and also.. Since there was a line of peeps already in the room I made the room owner only at about 9:30 so the peeps in line could play but peeps outside that were waiting in line might have got a - room not available - message when their turn came up. Sorry if that happened to anyone but I didn't want peeps to wait and then not have enough time to play so that's why I did that.

So Thank You Very Much again and see you again tomorrow I hope :) I will restart the prize machine quest so you can win again tomorrow :)

LOL I haven't the slightest idea who first came up with the idea of giving game prizes via kiosk. I have seen it more and more lately though. It really does make sense - saves time not having to trade the prize. Especially in my game where I have as many as 72 Dead Man's Chests to put back in place between each game! :Tongue:

LOL! I forgot to post that I opened it back up but now I had to close it for a while to eat. Tyvm for the nice comment :) See you there tomorrow I hope! I changed to random prizes because I was running out of a lot of stuff I was giving for prizes. So there's a lot of different stuff now. Some is good stuff, and some is junk, lol. So it's just kinda random what you will get for a prize, but I hope peeps play because it's a fun game and not just for a prize, but I know I like to at least have a chance at a nice prize when I play a game so I left enough nice things in there that peeps have a good chance for something they will like. :D

It is a lovely room (as we always expect from you) and very creative.

tyvm to all the peeps that came and played over the weekend :D Some friends messaged me and said that I had a 60 player wait at some times and I checked a few tmes and saw it at like 40 something and the only room more popular when I checked on Saturday was the host game! :) So tyvm for peeps waiting in such a long line to play my game. :D And also I had a few peeps cause a little bit of trouble in line and some that tried to not play fair so I had to stop a few games to get things set right and take care ot trouble makers so I'm sorry if any of that slowed things down for you and you had to wait longer. I just always try to handle things fair and warn peeps first and give them a chance to be nice, but if they don't then I have to boot so that's that. But mostly it went pretty smooth and peeps were nice and didn't cause trouble. No staff visited and that surprised me because it was so high on the list for a long time, but oh well. I will keep trying and I hope they come soon :) So see you again tomorrow with new prizes loaded up and ready to go :)

Well since the stuff isn't green and is dead you could've had like the Everest tracks instead of the river ones, because lol it sort of goes against what you said. but it's OK still seems awesome!

Great job, I think you should win Best Game Room.. It's very creative and month-originated, and seems like you put a lot of thought into it.

how do you know the winner goes in there only and not the lose??

When the game is over, I tell the winner to wait for me to open the green turnstile for them. Then I open the red turnstile and tell the peeps that didn't win.. - Ty for playing and plz try again :) - and ask them to go out the red turnstile. After they leave then I open the green for the winner. :) And if peeps are not playing properly and refuse to go out red after I ask them nicely then sometimes I have to boot them, but not too much. And also if you don't win then going out the red turnstile is kind of a shortcut back to the game because it goes through the - try again please - room and right back to the line for the game :)

I can't log in today :( I only played once this game :(

tyvm to a lot of players that played my game tonight and I think it's a really fun game because even peeps that don't win their first try come back and waited in line to play again. So tyvm to so many peeps coming to play and making the game go way up the list and also at #1 for a pretty long time too. :D I was kinda hoping a staff would come but none did but that's ok because it's really fun to run the game anyway. :) And one huge help to me is - The_Greeter - because he tells all the peeps in line to look at the photo album for how to play the game. So that makes it so peeps know how to play and don't have to ask a lot of questions so the game goes a lot smoother and faster. And one thing I found out about hosting a busy room is it's very very helpful to have great friends that help you. And I'm lucky that I have so many peeps that help me so much. And that's peeps that help directly like the greeter and other peeps that come back and play again and again even after they already won a prize and they do it just to help me so I totally appreciate it more than you know. :D tyvm to all that help and all that play :D Oh, and I would list all the great peeps that come back to play again and again but there are so many that I would leave some out by accidnet and I don't want to do that so I will just say that.. - You know who you are and you are all my greatest and best friends ever in vmk - :)

Well I opened this game - almost - every day this month in honor of the green month theme. So idk if I should open any more or not? But tyvm to all the peeps that played and also invited friends to come play too :D And also again I have to say extra huge major awesome TYVM to The_Greeter and granacci for helping me by greeting players and asking them to read the rules in the photo album while they wait in line and also answering the questions they have sometimes. I guess maybe if I get very lucky and possibly win best game then I will of course open it back up for peeps to play but if not then I guess this may be goodbye to this game because it was made for the green month theme and it wouldn't have a lot of point to it after the month is over. But I had a lot of fun hosting and seeing so many peeps come and play and have fun so it was worth doing no matter what :D

I throughly enjoyed your game, and you could still keep it open. Who cares what April's theme is? It's a fun game. @_@; Hope that you can open it from time to time. I was always looking for it. ;)

SuperBillyHill or SuperHillyBill or whatever your name is (lol i can never get it right) I've played your game before and it was really fun - even though i didn't win :( lol - but I am confused, you mentioned that a simple quest of smiling is required to claim your prize if you win. Does this mean that once I win your game, I can no longer win a prize again? Because I thought that no one was aloud to play a quest twice. Isn't that true? How would that work then?

You cannot win again until he resets the quest.
So usually, that is basically play once, and then you can play for fun, or come back again tomorrow.
