if you remember going to disney each theme park had gates and a countdown timer. there would be a countdown till when it opens then you would go through the gates onto a monorail and to the park.

wouldn't it be great if an area like that opened 5 minutes befor vmk opened so you could go in and count down.

Im very sad, VMK_Mocha said she never heard anything about VMK opening tomorrow and she said she also does not know anything about frontierland and tomorrowland opening...
Should I be nervous about this not opening now!? I still have not seen any official info on this.

uh uh, Lexweb, at my room VMK_Mocha specificly said not to quote what she says on VMK. :) Anyway, she did say she never heard of it, but did say that Disney Adventures said it right. She said she(or if i'm confused myself) will no if it will open if she hears from 'VMK'............................... I think.

(Plus Disney Adventures Techomania section did say it's coming out tomorrow)

I think you're talking about the rope drop ceremony they do at the opening to the parks. I've experienced one before and it was a little simple thing. They allowed everyone into the park up until the end of Main Street. You know, between the Photo Shop and the Coke Corner? Anyways, they had the Walt Disney opening speech play and finally annonunced Disneyland was open for another magical day. Then everyone was allowed to walk (not run...) to the first destination in the Happiest Place on Earth! I think it would be awesome if they could open a few rooms of Town Square for this purpose.

BTW, I can confirm Becky's statement about the opening tomorrow!

Well where did u here tomorrow was opening day?Because it can take over a year for BETA to end for example Gmail has been a beta for about 6 months.

In the Disney Adventures magazine (a official disney magazine) it mentioned the opening was tomorrow, I didn't read it but others on the forum did.

baby and others have it posted in the dates in which it is supposed to go live, i for one have been counting down the days, like i know alot of you have as well.

reguardless if it is or is not, i am getting gold ears for my birthday from shiregirl so it makes it a great day anyway.

In all my visits to Disney in my life, I have never seen this "countdown" until the park opens. Hopefully next time I go I will experiance it. (Which will be in mroe than 3 years :( ...)

Im getting a black screen everytime I try and login. One of two things...

1.) It is loading all the new lands and features
2.) It is lagging because everyone is trying to get in!

Anyone have success yet?
