Jenni sat there wondering. ' Where could my mom and dad be ' Jenni was living by herself in an old run down apartment. She didn't go to school, she couldn't afford it, but yet she still seemed to make friends. She started to remeber that day when she actually had a house..
" Carter get the kids! " a ladys voice had yelled. Jenni had actually been asleep when this happened. Jenni felt the wind against her face even while asleep. Next thing she knew she was laying on the ground and thats when the neighbors had called the police. Jenni had been tooken into her neighbors house until the police had gotten there. Jenni never knew what really happened that day, or if her mom and dad were out there and if so where were they?
Jenni sat up trying to forget again but it was stuck. Jen opened the door and steped into the scorching heat. " Karen! " Jenni yelled. Karen was Jenni's best friend she lived down the road. " Want to go down to the beach? " Karen asked Jenni. " Sure, why not? " Jenni and Karen ran to the beach and sat down in the hot sand. " Karen? " Jenni said with a soft voice. " Uh huh? " Karen replied. " Would you ever report me to C.S.I? " Jenni asked. " Well I haven't thought of it, why? " Karen asked. " Well there searching for me everywhere and I know they just want to help but I just.. I just feel like my life was meant to be this way, have you ever gotten that feeling? " " I don't want to leave here " Jenni started crying. " Well, I'll think about the C.S.I thing.. " Karen said. " Whatever! " Jenni was still crying. She ran up to her apartment and slamed the door as she went in.
