Arg it's true it's happening again!! It was about the same time yesterday the same exact thing happened unless they are working on something around this time everyday now and they are not allowing us to get on for that moment they are working on it. But I think they should at least tell us that they might be working on it so people are not thinking it is their computer messing up or something

Sigh. You know this happens very usually now and ever since beta it shuts down completely from time to time. Just get use to it. it is a thing that happens there is no way to stop it or hurry it up. We should at least be thankfull for VMK to actually be what it is.

Actually, it's not just the server, the main problem are the bugs. Like all Beta, VMK will always have bugs to be fixed. The reason you get a black screen is because VMK temporarily raises the server's firewall to prevent players to enter while they make improvements. if you wait long enough with the black screen, a message might appear saying: "Unable to Enter VMK: Check your firewall settings". Try logging in about 30 min. later, it should start working again then. :CastMem:

Not necessarily(sp?). Usually, it is bc your computer is proccessing a lot of information. It has nothing to do with the players until it hits the "limit" . Usually the limit is never reached, so it does not have to do with the VMK players.

Today I was one of the first to try log in on VMK, and Mozilla, it let me log in just not play VMk. I retried, made another player to try and get in, VMK Crashed, but its working fine on IE. Anyone know whats going on?:poison:

Suffering from BLACK SCREEN.. Says it's a ShockWave problem, but I've had that before and it's different.. anyone know how to fix this? Couldn't get on for 5 days now, no matter how long I wait.. :( Rather frustrated!

I was in Yavn's room, and before VMK went down, it was like a magic attack! Everyone seemed to use magic and people were yelling for them to stop, I was in there and disconnected and now i get 'This Page Cannot Be Displayed'. This is crazy and like GatorGreen said it happens near every weekend!

yes i agree but VMK has all these events in which almost everyone is doing. all the ride teleporters and many poeple playing the game is why they had to close. everyone was complaining that VMK was to slow so now when their fixing it everyone is all angry about it, so just let them fix it it usually does not take long

Yes. I finally installed it, but sadly, I was unable to get in. Hopefully VMK staff will be generous enough to extend the hero costume event. Hopefully they know why there's so many missing players from VMK!:)

Lol the 1,160 are the people just like you you see when vmk is done loading with updates and stuff and you get black screen it counts you as ONLINE so no is online lol.

NPC credits are the nonplayable characters that you get credits from like the Yeti, Ned, Captain Blackheart, etc. It doesn't say vmk is closed for me I just get the black screen! VMK please fix the bugs for this dreaded black screen!

They could at least program the event room inventory message before VMK opens, so we don't get ubercrashed right at VMK opening!

About that message from VMK Pal and the firewall- if VMK Pal has worked for you in the past you can ignore that. I added that message because many people would install VMK Pal, the firewall would block it, and they had no idea why they couldn't connect.

About that message from VMK Pal and the firewall- if VMK Pal has worked for you in the past you can ignore that. I added that message because many people would install VMK Pal, the firewall would block it, and they had no idea why they couldn't connect.

Basically the VMK server is down. It has nothing to do with VMK Pal.
