I recieved the same message. Today seems to be bug day for vmk. They are probably trying to fix everything like they were earlier today.

I keep myself on the green car quest so whenever I get the courage to try fireworks again I'm all set. I'm guessing I'll get a message whenever they do change the quests.

After a lot of trouble this morning, VMK is working normally for me now.

Of course, "normally" includes the massive lag I get when trading.... :(

I also noticed that they haven't updated the VMK home page, just Push's Trivia question (no new best guest, quest or game room). Hope Yavn hasn't updated either but I know he doesn't do it every Monday... Hope something new will pop up (even a Poll) Oh no never mind just went back to see and they have posted the new Winners. In addition to the difficulties in logging in, all the fantasyland courtyards are packed to the rafters and there is a queue to get in.

I was in my room having just gotten out of pan and i was in line to get in to the courtyard. so when i go to my room a girl came in from my teleporter and started "skating" in the room i dont know how to describe it. it's like she was going through all my furniture and finally hit my stack of chests and was walking in place in front of the chests and that'w when i figured i need to log out cause i was going crazy!!!!! and now VMK has about 8000 people in it!!!! wow.. I just paid my 10 credits to go through the turnstile, suddenly i am walking on air, then it throws me back out and I find myself halfway across the courtyard >_< I want my ride/rug, I paid for it!!

My daughter is on playing but I can't get on. Her friends list is showing that I am still connected to VMK but I am not. It appears that people that aren't on have not been cleared from the VMK server and it maybe that the server is showing more people on that are not.

Your trade probably wouldn't work, anyway. No messages are getting through because of all the lag.

I wonder whether VMK considers today's ride-a-thon a "success"? It certainly is popular. Do you think they're sitting around saying, "Wow, these people really like the green paint blotches we made!"?

I think the vmk team needs to think a little more before they do. They should have known, if they dont know already, how many acconts vmk can hold at one time. Also they should know by now that having a popular room will cause a lot of lag and or vmk being down ex: Blue Bayou, tomorrowland, frontierland, New Orleans, etc. They should plan for this and not put them in rooms. I'm not blaming vmk for all of this but they really should think before they do. I'm not trying to be mean but they should think first...

Sorry for getting off topic but it sort of relates to vmk being down lol

It was fine earlier, then everyone from all timezones got home, and they're crowding VMK for the ride-a-thon, and I'm sure a bunch of people have got mules that are riding as well so they can have bulk rugs. In a while, we'll probably see people trading bulk of rugs..@_@

The VMK site is too busy to let me even get VMK to load up now..

I found the rides worked OK (the occasional crash though). Just like others have said, a lot of lag.

I was on and off for a couple of hours this evening. Got some pieces on two characters (although no magic pins) and both did Toad quests and got the new pins at Emporium. Am way behind this month because of work responsibilities.

And sorry, I meant earlier this evening...for now, I am down like it seems everyone else is but I'm wiped and probably relaxing with the TV.

come on... i hope vmk thinks a little more before they do like had a paragraph on it in an eariler in page 696. If they thought stuff out or bought a bigger site, we would not have this problem as often i bet if they were to make vmk "Better" then they should make it so vmk does not go down as much not putting a staff badge sign on the guest room list when its a staff room all you have to do is click the room and look at the info at the bottom not that difficult....

Fantasyland is the Crashing and DC Central. Everyroom u go in u get crashed or get dc. rarely at the same time both

That's not true. To enhance is a broad term that simply means "to improve." Sure, it can include, but is not limited to, making an addition to the game. As far as I know, fixing the extreme lag is definitely an improvement.

They're slowly getting better at it. I remember the first year of VMK, it was much, much worse. Sometimes VMK wouldn't even open on time, and it'd open 1-3 hours later.
