theory if the time period between each sunday was longer and longer for "enhancements" maybe its cause they were moveing at that time and that caused them to take longer to fix or enhance stuff?

Nope, the game is not working for me either. I've been trying to sign in all morning and I've been getting nothing but the Black Screen of Oblivion (is that what we decided we called it? :confused: ). During my last attempt to sign in, I got the BSOO followed by a notice that I was disconnected, followed by a notice that the Kingdom was closed. :(

Actually, I think it is kind of useful. At least, this way you know that you can log into the Kingdom and you aren't experiencing difficulties because you've been banned for some unknown reason.

I'm not complaining, but I seem to remember VMK closing down (or being too full) every Sunday following the introduction of the most-awesome Q icon quests. However, I seem to remember that, on the other Sundays, by this time, the problems were fixed and I was able to log in and complete the quest. I'm sure that VMK staff are aware of this problem and are working to fix it. I just hope that they take this into consideration and decide to extend the host games (Host Phinny's quest, Host Lily's quest, and Host Sparky's race event) at least a few hours once the kingdom reopens.

Wasn't VMK down for about six hours or so on Superbowl Sunday? That was frustrating. But I cannot remember if the quests for that day were extended. Wait...it was the football maze wasn't it? That was going on all day long anyway wasn't it? Were there any other official quests that day?

I noticed that, too. I guess we can assume VMK is aware of the problem. :Tongue:

However, as frustrating as this is for us, don't think that VMK experiencing problems is a picnic for the staff. Do you like it when you experience technical difficulties when at work or school? And think about this: we're playing VMK because we enjoy it ... and while I hope the staff enjoy VMK, this is their job and they must be so stressed right now. Let me ask you a question: would you rather have staff spend time replying to the 'Contact Us' messages, which mostly say exactly the same thing, or do everything they can to fix whatever the problem is and get us back in the kingdom?

That being said, I would appreciate some communication from VMK staff, keeping us informed of the situation, perhaps in the form of an occasional update on the main page. This way, we (the players) would know what is going on and VMK wouldn't get innundated with thousands of messages from frantic and stressed-out players who are unable to get into the kingdom.

Yes, apparently it did for about a half hour this morning. Several people on here said they were able to get on and at least start the quest. And one person actually got to finish the quest. He/she said the rewards were a Club33 pin, film, and 300 credits.

Oh, I wonder what happened. I hope someone will tell us what was up with VMK soon. :(

I am stuck and othe people are stuck with me in pirates lobby! no games are working, you try to exit and you just run there.. nothing happens, and you cant get in guest rooms!

everything froze, and couldn't move, logged off and now get the black screen, anyone else having problems

I got dc and I can't log in anymore.. are you having the same problem?

is VMK working for the rest of you? it wasnt working for me and i couldnt getin any room also couldnt go to any guest room then i tried again and got a black screen

Same thing happened while I was in my Epcot Room... SO I logged out but now I can't get back on...

Yup VMK sorta crashed. Pfft
