When I got the pop up it didn't say come back tomorrow or the closing one, it was the "Disney is having a technical problem or there is a problem with your registration" one and "There is no current connection"

I get any pop up at all..it just goes to a black screen.

It takes a few min, i let it sit for like 5 and then I got 2 pop ups.

Well, darn, today would have been a swell day for me to run my Jungle Cruise quest again. Ah well.

Ok and I looked back in the previous posts and people said that the hat is going to be out all weekend yet the calender says its out only today.

I just loaded a flash update and i thought that is what was the problem, i am glad it is just VMK

This must have been something un-planned for the staff because VMK wouldn't have put something on the calendar if they were going to close.
I bet they have some huge server crash or something.

Well if they closed it today they will surley sell the mask tomorrow, I heard that they are going to bring the BETA stuff back because they are really mad at the ppl seling things on eBay. I know of someone who had bids on auctions and almost everyone of his auctions disappeared and eBay told him it was pulled but they didn't tell him why. So look out if your selling on eBay Disney is cracking down hard now. Also all the stuff was beta and he had a lot of money on it on his maximum bid

It says "limited time." It doesn't say how limited.

If it were only for today, it probably would say, "one day only," and if it were only for the weekend, it would probably be listed for tomorrow and Sunday. So I think the "limited time" is longer than that.Hmm, when we see the pin listed for Friday through Sunday, and then we see the mask listed only for Friday, it gives the impression that it won't be available after today.

If VMK means something different, they really should clarify this, as it could be very misleading for players trying to plan their purchases.The "mystery hats" in October were only listed on the day they came out. Some of them lasted a week, and some lasted the rest of the month.But in that case, the newletter mentioned new hats being for sale each week in October; nobody had to wonder if it was for the weekend only.

I'm hoping they update the present newsletter with a little more info.

The loading of it is fine, then when I should see the map, all I see is this black screen.

It's been around 2, because 2 hrs ago I was working and went on a break came back 30 mins ago. Confusing I know but it's about 2 hrs not going on 4 LOL. Me too backstroke50 the bar loads and the vmk picture with the % but then I get the black screen.

Yes my VMK is out. I can get past all the loading screens and then the whole thing is just black[/COLOR[COLOR="DarkSlateGray"]]. I can, however, view my credits and my pins on the main page.

It because VMK shut down for a while. Around 4:00 PM Eastern times I disconnected and got the "Kingdom Closed" message with the times the Kingdom is open. There are many threads about this right now...

I think that VMK has gone twice in the last two days because of the re-release of the quest kiosk. I don't know why, but I think that's the reason. Remember with Hula's Yard Sale and the EPCOT turnstile?

In reference to my posting twice earlier - it wasn't me!! I think it was something to do with vmkf, this site is doing weird things on my computer today :confused:

Anyway I am wondering if yesterday and today is something to do with tomorrow's maze event. I was not here for the halloween maze but didn't it cause a lot of problems then? Maybe with having added a new land now perhaps their system just cannot cope with it all (plus of course the amount of people now - 7,000 last sunday). Just a thought.

totally argeed cause remeber the time of the slideathon. their were reports of disconnections and crashes and all of that stuff. so vmk is more down time to make the maze more smooth. plz do try do make more people be in the room at once tho i highly dbout that.

This is highly annoying. It was closed for many hours last night, now it is close this morning? They really have some issues and are starting to get people really ticked including me.

I was on this morning and got my 750 credits from Jungle Cruise. I went to Tomorrowland Arcade to get the Tron stuff and as i returned to the Tomorrowland Hub I kept looking at my friends list and ppl would appear, but not in any room.

FYI - The mask is still on sale this morning for anyone who is wondering.

I got a message shortly after returning to the Tomorrowland Hub that VMK Staff Alert to the Room - VMK is closed! [Now I am here :)]
