Well i finally got on, got halfway through fin's quest, and the timer ran out on me. Now that is low class. Its not our fault VMK has been down half the day, and when people get back on they don't even get the chance to do the quest. I wonder if Walt would have ended the quest or extended it......

I managed to get to finish the quest on my account, but now I can't log back on with my sister's account - just the black screen again!

Yes, I am. VMKpal isn't working either. So probably, it's not our computers. It must be something with VMK/disney.

I heard the staff are making some changes to VMK (or maybe just working on it). So they had to close it down.

This is kind of off topic, but i was on this online encyclopedia (can't say the name) and i typed in vmk and it actually came up, with a lot more information than i thought, anyways there was a section at the bottom that mentions how a lot of users are un satisfied because of the dc problems and numerous errors. I thought that was kind of weird that these problems were in an encyclopedia

That might be my fault :l. I've noticed that whenever I get this weird error message when I enter some rooms VMK goes down.

I think its because the new land is in. That's why vmk is slow and always down. It takes me like 40 minutes now to log in.

VMK is far from loading.

The homepage takes a long time to load, and all VMK is giving me is a black screen. This happening to anyone else besides me?

I've also noticed that the number of players has been dropping, slowly but surely. When someone disconnects, you cannot get back on, I'm assuming.

Today I've tried to log onto VMK many, many times, but they all seem to give me a frozen loading bar. On the first loading bar, it stops about half way, and when I patiently wait for it to go, it never does.

I've tried re-installing shockwave, but that did no good. I ran a [well trusted] cleaner on my computer, and the loading bar went up a little more, but still it could not access the kingdom.

Can I have some support here?


Also, I am completely clueless in deleting my Temporary Internet Files. Where can I do that? Thanks!

Have you closed the vmk game window and tried logging in again? Sometimes I have to do that a few times before I can log on completely. Serious lag.
Just now, I'm getting locked up every time I log on. I get to the map and then nothing. Grrr! It's always something...

When I have defragged my computer and deleted files, etc, it can take nearly an hour to load. First I get the VMK logo then the black screen then I just leave it for an hour or until I hear the noise. The second and other times it only takes 2 minutes (work that one out then!). So, my question is: have you tried waiting 20 - 60 minutes with just the black screen up?? Hope you get it working soon :)

Ok, here's what I did. First I installed Firefox, good browser, but didn't help me. So I downloaded VMK PAL (love it BTW). Tried getting on there and it worked...sort of. (I could only get into it by clicking on a friend and entering the same room. When I got there I couldn't really do anything because of insane lag. I closed it. Had an idea. Went and created another new character and registered again. No problem what so ever getting in and moving around. Chatted with one of the helpers standing by Blue Bayou. She says.... That the more advanced your character, and the more stuff it has, it can cause extremely LONG load times. Thats why my new character gets in faster. Well that made sense to me.

So... my plan is... and I'll let you know how it works, is to play this new person for a few days then try my old one again. See how it goes. Basically I'm just testing out a theory.

Oh and NO, I wasn't banned with any character, so that wasn't the problem. lol

Please be patient, they are busy working on getting this fixed. They don't have time to come here and say its not working and its a technical problem anyway vmk staff would not stop ppl from having fun if they were to add a little thing. So its a technical problem and they dont need to share it with us so plz be patient

and NikkiTink dont worry vmk does this about once a month you will not lose your account or anything inside it its just a bug all web sites go down sometimes lol

yes vmk has been down for like 3 hours before it was "The Disney Sites Crash" as i like to call it that lol every disney owned site was down for at leasat 3 hours when you tried to load any disney owned site it would get a bleu circle in the middle of the screen saying "Sorry Disney is having technical difficulties at the moment, we are sorry for the inconvinence" so its getting close to that 3 hours.. lol

3 We will probably get something new in return from thisvmk would not close if they are adding something new they would wait until the next day or add it when vmk is closed at the right time and have it in by we log in the next day lol

i was in the middle of ship battle and after i got the message i saw everyones ship crash rofl then mine did :(well vmk is going to be down i estimate hmm at least 1 hour and 30 minutes more lol well might as well eat sleep and play some games then maybe it will be back on LOL

I'm sure they wouldn't close VMK in the afternoon to put something new in VMK.
They would do it over-night and it would most likely come out on a Friday or Monday.

lol, they close a lot of times during vmk hours. We probably won't even see a change when we enter back into the kingdom :rolleyes:

I've gotten messages in the past that they were closing for a limited amount of time during the day. Glad I came on here to see if it was something like that. I left for a while to help my kids with their new Megablock sets and to have supper. I then couldn't get back on. Whaaa.....and just when the kids were at Judo and I'd have peace and quiet.

they do this is PROBABLY NOT A ADD ONTO VMK ITS PROBABLY A TEHCNICAL ERROR AND THEY ARE TRYING TO FIX IT :)

This has been happening a lot lately, just be patient for a while and try again later. I'm sure we it will be notified here when we can get back on, you aren't the only one with this problem and others are eager to get logged on again too.
