Ok nickisasped you need to chill, VMK is most likely not going to be up all day/night, so all you need to do is play some arcade games and watch a bit of TV, maybe go outside and do something, or get a cool drink and read a book or something. You shouldnt let VMK rule your life :)

It has just been found out about 10 to 15 minutes ago and that is the Disney websites. The VMK site has nothing on it.

interesting thing just before vmk went down I couldn't get a code from the pirates game to go in and now the pirates game also can't give codes, all I got was an error message. I know my wife's work had to change their IP address to resolve connection issues. It took her IT people 2 days to fix. I hope they wiil fix it soon.

Did you install shockwave yet?

There is a possibilty that your laptop is over-hearing. This slows down everything, and will cause vmk to completely freeze in one position. I suggest turning your computer off for around an hour. Turn it back on, and it should be fine :)

I don't think that is the problem though. I use my laptop to play VMK and it's fine.

that stinks... that happened to me for a period of time but it is fixed now and i dont know how so you can just wait a while mabye like a week or a few days and see if it comes back... or just dont use that computer :) (:

What operating system do you have? When my personal desktop had Windows ME installed, I always got that screen. The family computer had Windows XP and VMK always worked on there, and now that I have Windows 2000 it works on here. It may just be a problem with ME/'98.

That is definately a shockwave problem. Try installing it again and restart your computer. I have had this problem before and once I re-installed it it worked fine. Best of luck to you!

I tried to log onto VMK but it had the old loading bar. After the loading bar filled up, the VMK logo went away and it had one of those "Internet Explorer has encountered an error and needs to close. Would you like to send an error report" things so i clicked 'don't send'. Then I tried again and the same thing happened!! What's wrong with my (beep) computer!!!???

I did have ernesto....I guess I coudl try restarting the computer and reconnecting the internet. I also cleared my cache (I think--I'm not very sure what you mean) and cookies. Ok I did reconnected the internet I'll try again. Then If that don't work I'll restart it. Can someone please tell me how I clear my cache?? thanxes

Ok i am trying to et on vmk i get a black screen then i minimize it and when i click on it it comes back up and where the black was has the picture of the screen behind it.

it works for me....

try this: when your get the thing VMK has crshed or black screen or disconnected sign, press and hold F5, then click ok if dc or crash or just keep holding for black screen. your still holding F5, so it should stay still for a little bit. it it takes too long, go ahead and just log in again. hope this works. :)

Not sure if it goes in here, but here it goes..

I'm able to log in perfectly, then when it reaches 100% (or 101%), I get an error/disconnection message stating I can not connect due to my Firewall thing. This is the first time it's happened, and I played VMK last night for a long while. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening, so I'm looking for some feedback. Has anyone had this problem before? I'll take a picture of the message when I attempt to log back in ;).

Oh, and something to be aware of: I'm not at all computer literate :D.

Ah!! I can't get on!!! VMK loads and then after the loading is done, instead of showing the map, i see nothing! The screen is just black for lik 10 minutes and then once the ten minutes is up i get a message saying vmk has crashed. Has VMK gone through changes or something? I know the home page has but has the game itself? I hope i can log in soon :(.

Are you using VMK Pal? Not sure if it's the Homepage that's messing it up, but try logging on through VMK Pal :).

The homepage says '0 players online' and when i try to log in i get that page cannot be displayed notice:confused:

I can't log in either.

I'm having the same problem, I keep trying to log on, but nothing happens.

Looks like the dc monster got mad at yavn for keeping him in his cage, so he busted out, and sent a huge attack on the server! O_O

Ah well, atleast we know it's not our own problem :)

i just tryed to login to vmk and it had this (page can not be displayed) vmk must have a bug

their probally working on the site again thats why no one is getting in their right now and everyone is just going to have to wait and just keep checking back every now and then to see if it is open

i think they might be adding halloween enchancements

mine says gateway timeout or something like that
