Never heard of the game? Is it like Super Smask Bros. Melee? If so, is this game for GameCube? I haven't played this game, but my favorite character from Melee, would have to be JigglyPuff or Mr. Game & Watch.

As for Sonic, Nintendo took a poll asking who you want in SSBB. Sonic was the most requested. It is not confirmed whether Sonic will be in the game or not. Nintendo still needs to get the rights from Sega.

Well to clear up what I said before, I do belive they replaced the old StarFox and replaced him with the Red StarFox (His dad)

I have NP I just got the April 2007 in the mail today!! They don't have much info on SSBB yet tho.. All I care is that they have Link (which they already do), Zelda, Gannondorf, Mewtwo, Pikachu (which they already do), and Sonic.

And I also think that Link's wolf form would be a good addition to the game!!:D

Nintendo said they're not making any new software for the Gamecube and sales of the system have been horrible since the Wii came out. So I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that it can only be played on Wii.

And for DS, Phantom Hourglass is bound to come out of the blue later this year ;)


And for the records, Sonic HAS NOT been announced yet. There is a good chance, though. I mean, considering Nintendo is accepting Third Party game characters, Sonic has a pretty good chance. By the way, I own SSBM with Roy. Once you time your dancing blade attack correctly, it is a deadly weapon. Perfect for proving that Roy does have good combos.

I have used Fox ever since the first Super Smash Bros. came out for the N64. I've only been beaten a handful of times. You have to know how to use your person. Yes, Roy has great combos and can be very powerful if you know how to use him.

I'm a Sheik person myself - hope (s)he makes it into the next game :D

I could see Zero Suit Samus being a good Sheik-alternative, though, so I'm looking forward to trying it out. Metaknight also looks like a really fun character to play.

lol. Nintendogs isn't a character, it's an item. It's used to cover the screen. Also, again, the only confirmed characters are: Mario, Link, Pikachu, Kirby, Meta Knight, Pit, Samus/ Zero Suit Samus, Wario, Snake, and Fox. It is not confirmed that all characters will be returning to Brawl.

All I care is that Roy comes back, and that Sonic or Sora makes an appearance. Wouldn't it be cool if we could have sora? He could summon Donald or Goofy, use spells, attack with his keyblade, and even have his own stage with heartless! (This idea was partly made up by somebody else)

Since I have myself a Wii, I'll be very excited when this game comes out.

I'm a Young Link player, mostly. He may be a bit dull, but if you have skills, you can make his ordinary moves extraordinary :)


I also hope that a new Zelda battle feild will be added. I would really like a Hyrule Castle Atop Lava (from Ocarina of Time) battle field.

I think any person (in the game) can be good, if you can use them right. Except for Mr. Game and Watch.. I am thinking of being a Pit or Meta-Knight player instead of Captain Falcon, or Falco. I switch between them because they are my best players, I am much better if I am one of those, than someone else. I would think Fox has the best moves by far, but I like being other people. I am wondering if Sora will be in the next, I have actually made of list of players that should be in the game, like King K. Rool, Andross, and Samurai Goroh, Boo, and Slippy Toad to name a few. you may not have heard of them if you don't play their games. I really do not like waiting for this game, I am thinking it will compete with Twilight Princess for being the best overall game on the Wii.

Mr. Game and Watch can be good, actually. I've seen some people who play him quite well.

My second-favorite character in Melee is the Ice Climbers. Not many people play them but they're quite good!

I'm hoping Captain Olimar makes it into Brawl, because I want to chuck Pikmin at people!

Are you kidding me? You play as the ice climbers? No way, come over to my place. Roy is so gonna whup those two mallet wielders. Even though the fact that you can have two characters is pretty cool.

You know, Ice Climbers are higher tier than Roy, so don't be too overconfident ;) I have beaten many a Roy in my day with the little ice guys (only to be taken down by Fox or something ;) )

I just recently was searching the web for glitches on SSBM when i came across a video of SSBB. It was quite odd, it showed the Gamecube symbol, and Wii symbol throughout the video. Maybe it'll be for both systems.

Well, you haven't played me as Ice Climbers yet! ;) Most people don't know how to use the cute lil' guys. I have, however, been soundly defeated by people playing every character in the game (including Kirby and Pichu :p )

OMG I can't wait for it to come out!!!! >8-\ Wii rocks!

That they have Yoshi's stage doesnt mean that he is in it (Yoshi is not confirmed yet), the chance is random that Yoshi will return in it.. And dont forget Donkey Kong! Hehe

There are currently only 11 characters confirmed.. But i hope it gets more then Super Smash Brothers Melee did. And i hope it will be for Gamecube too, then i could buy it!

Recently re-watched the movie, and watched the Japan movie for the first time at the Smash bros.' home page. Sorry folks, but a lot of the moves look.... the same.

Like I said, it's not confirmed yet, but can you imagine trying to play SSBB with the Wiimote?
If you need to put your Classic Controller to good use, buy a Wii Points Card and buy some classic games!
