This Apprentice not only will have tasks, BUT money! How do you earn money, you ask? Extra Tasks/Questions! This round to earn 750$ for your team you have to:
Come up with a story behidn your team name.
This should be made up unless you have a real story. (Ex. If your team name is: The Shockers! You could make a story about how one of your team members found electricty)
It's as easy as that! Each round you can earn more money. You can also earn money from the tasks.You should talk about what to buy with your team before you PM me. Anyway, what do you use money for you ask? She the shop!:

Why should you be elected leader?: I'm very active in VMKF. I achieve my goals. I stay on top of the things I lead (example, don't slack off or take an extended break). All good leaders are tough, they don't let you walk over them, and you learn something from the leaders. That's what I am. With this team, things need to be done pronto, or as soon as possible. I cannot think of anything else to say, so in conclusion, if I become leader, I will do my very best not to let this team down.

I think the thread title should have been DudeJoeJoe's Apprentice Team Two Discussion, but that's in the past, we can't really fix it.

I have had experience in past apprenticeships, and I think we should have the list of tasks for the upcoming due date, with a check box besides them. Also, CowgirlLauren, when someone comes up with an idea, you could put it in italazied next to the task.
Sorry If I'm coming off bossy, just trying to better the team. (Don't know about you but I think we should win this ;))

I think we should do the tasks one by one, that basically means electing a leader would be next. So, what I would do is put everyone who wants to be leader on a list, and their application up there, and put votes: and in red, put a 1,2,3 etc. Then on the list on everyone on our team, you could color their names red, if they have already voted, to prevent them from voting again.

Team Name Idea: The DJJs. (This is DudeJoeJoe's initials, and It sounds like a "DJ", In our aviie, we could have pics of the DJ booths, monorail and music game. Also, for the sig, the pics of us could be of us DJing either on music game or monorail. Also, I could easily create a story line envolving DJJs.
We could also, say DJJ stands for Disc Jammin Jokers, or something else.

I am also going to apply to be the leader of our team (Or for this round)

Why should you be elected leader?:
I think there are three main reasons why I should become leader, first is because of my experience. I have been a leader of a team, in an apprentice before, and dudejoejoe, was on my team back then. His competition is so far very similiar to the one I was leader in.
Secondly, I believe I have good leadership qualities, I consider myself good at directing people as to what they should do, and contributing to the group.
Lastly, I make sure everyone has a say in what they want to do. I get them team to vote commonly, and I ask for opinions. If I am the leader of team two, I can make sure that your opinion is heard.
Are than any members on this team that knows you are good for the job?:No, I haven't worked with any of the people from this round, but if you look up TikiRoom's Apprentice, you can ask some other people that were on my team, If they consider me to be a good leader. (Heck, you could Even ask DudeJoeJoe becuase he was on my team)

Also, If it's not too early to vote, I'll vote for Chaelle, she has obviously already made a great effort to help out the team by sending everyone the pm. I think she would make a great leader.

Also, I believe we need to get in the habbit, of commonly posting on here, for great participation could result in great work ;)

I was trying to give ideas. If this title doesn't happen to "click" with you, could you please give an example of what does? Or an idea of your own?
Also, Chaelle already has three votes. I resign for running for leader, because Chaelle, as suggested by others, will be better. In my opinion, she should just go ahead and be the team captain.
And we have completed tasks, but I see that you went ahead and found some way to mark that we'd already completed it, which was all I was asking you to do in the first place.

In a previous apprentice, we put the ideas up next to the task, and then we voted on which one to use, which worked very well. I am used to saying an idea, and having people consider it, instead of having one person decide it doesn't "click" with them, and it simply can't be an option.

Finally, shouldn't we have the team title first, before making a slogan? Because take the slogan that DJJ used as an example. Say "Disneyworld" was our team name, it would be kind of hard to make "Disneyworld- where dreams come true" If you didn't know that Disneyworld was our title. And I also believe that the slogan should have something to do with our title. Instead of being like we're the raries. And our slogan is we like cheese. That wouldn't make any sense.

Ok well If Chaelle accepts then I asuume everyone is fine with that. Now Im thinking of a title Jalepeno now as I said before I liked Chaelle's as well. Now when it comes to art Im not the best. I downloaded a new program but I havent figured it out yet and Im not that great. So sorry if I cant be as much of a help on art as you'd like. Im thinking of a motto that has to do with our title. So once we figure out the title Im sure I have a motto.

Our worries now is to make about a team name, I like BlueJalepeno's team name, but I'd also like something we can say in both VMKF and VMK. Our slogan has got to be catchy. And also like BlueJalepeno said, it has to make sense to our audiences and judges. Blue, I for one, love your current ideas and know that your are going to help us greatly in our team.

CowgirlLauren, I think DJJ could work, but we should make DJJ stand for something else like Disc Jazz Jam or something. I think this would work out very nicely. Unless you perfer raries, or a different title all together.

And also Chaelle, while coming up with that title, I was looking at Mr.Toad's Dictionary. You can say Disc Jammin Jokers, in VMK.

That's the fourth letter of each of our titles put together.

Well, The DJJ's are a good title, although like I said, I'm looking for something that we can say in VMK, too. The reason is, is if we have to do any tasks in VMK, we can be identified with our team name in our siganture. I've test DJ and it blinks red in VMK. Determined is accepted, and so is Diamonds. So, everyone except for us active postsers (BlueJalepeno, CowgirlLauren, MelodyRose and me) will have to vote. I know that we as a team need to, but like CarrieWannaBe said (which I think was a little bossy), we do have to get going (quickly) with our tasks.

Well my idea was that if we use a DJJ idea, DJJ would stand for something else that is sayable in VMK, and that is what we'd use for VMK.
We could do "Raries" and have the slogan be, "We're rare- 8 of a Kind ;)"
Or Definately Jammin Jackolanterns, "Jackolanterns are better Jammin"

Hmm, well I'm testing out words right now in VMK.
We can't say Jackolanterns, Jammin or Jamming, but we can say Jam- although I don't know if that would actually make sence as Dangerously Jam Jets.

Charging Achievers sounds good, CowgirlLauren. I loved Determined Diamonds, but I want everyone to feel comfortable with the team name.
I had a horrible stomach virus last night (thank goodness it only lasted for a day though). But I'm off today and will be checking back on this thread and organizing things.
The whole team name thing is our huge problem- we can't move on to any oher tasks until we get this one out of the way. This task is my goal for today- when we all agree with a team name. I would want everyone to agree on one team name, but, that probably won't be so everyone time. So we are going to vote, and the majority of votes from us will be selected as team name.

Sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I would have like to have been.
That's a bummer that the tasks are due tonight, I had the first stages of my story in the works, and I was working on an aviie.
Sorry again that I haven't been as consistent. I am juggling, a few sports, school work, and extra curiculars around. But, I will still check here as often as I can, and if you need me to do something I'll try my best.
My schedule is booked on saturday wanted to tell you in advance, I probably won't be able to post much at all. I have competitions, a funeral, and parties.
But on sunday I should be able to.

You could score anywhere between 1-25 (I'll tell you know, no one got less than 15!) Than I multipled that by 4. Because 25x4=100. And the scoring is out of 100.

I think the surfer dude theme would be really sweet (We could get a famous surfer to support our toothpaste ;) !). I was researching toothpaste for this, and found that there really is such thing as chocolate toothpaste. Awkward. I wouldn't ever use it. On the labels, it should put (Cavities Included!)

Ya'll, You may not agree, but I think the surf board idea would work very well. It could be buy our extreme toothpastepack (that has 15 flavors) and, get a free surf board! Also, it wouldn't be to hard to find the best surfer, and say he/she supports it.

I don't know too much about surfing either, but surfers have a certain way of talking (Very much like 60's language) And we could use this language in the titles of the flavors, to make it sound cool and fun and kid friendly. And scateboarders don't really have almost their own language that I'm aware of. Also, the idea of looking up a famous surf boarder knocks out the celebrity promotion deal, and it's easy to make bargains having to do with surfing. Aka, Free surf board if you buy this, free gift certificate to Quiksilver boarding clothes store. Just my opinion though.

Also, I think that we need to have a theme, because we don't want "Diamondy Toothpaste" as our title, then having Snoop Dog support it, and have surf boarder sounding toothpaste flavor names. I really think we should come up with a theme, then start our individual tasks. Just my thoughts..

i've been to WDW so much I lost count.
But I already have an idea.

Okay, since our leader is unable to post, you may find that I'm going to take a somewhat leadership position, because that's pretty much my nature. (Bare with me.)
We have very limited time on this task, and that is going to be a problem.
First of all, I think we should decide on a place for our ride.
I can do the story behind the ride, and possibly the description.

Also, I've come up with my own idea for this task, my ideas are found in bold, underneath the task.

~Name your ride.
My Idea for the ride would be, "The Fantasma" which is Spanish for, "The ghost"
~Place it in a land in WDW (EPCOT, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Ect.)
No ideas for this.
~Give me the story that is told through your ride.
The main idea of my story:
There was a architect living in Mexico, that liked to build houses. One day he went to his attic and found that his house was haunted, as described by him, "A ghost picked me up and flew me around my mansion, at the end of the thrilling ride it dropped me back on my bed. The ride of a lifetime" The man was so fascinated by this ghost, that when he moved out of the house, he went from designing houses to designing roller coasters. First he made a model of his Mexican styled house, then placed a roller coaster running from the attic of the house all the way through the house back to the bed room, where the riders would get off.
~Describe your rides (Loops, turns, speed, ect.)
"The Fantasma" is an adult more thrilling version of haunted mansion. In the exaggerated version of the architect's mansion, riders will drop 168 feet (Nearly 16 stories high) You will experience turns, twists, corkscrews, and spiral loops. Especially scary is when you are riding through the man's closet, with no lights on you can not see anything. The ride ends after 4 minutes of 100% thrill.
~Pick out a song that will play during your ride.
Something moderately spooky sounding.
~Make a poster advertising your new ride
I have no good art skills so if someone else could please do this that wouldn't great. But my idea is a black screen with the words, "The Fantasma" In spooky letters, and some sort of picture of a spooky looking ghost or spirit or dark mexican styled house.

Let me know if you liked my idea(s).

I say mgm aka Disney Studios because they need a new ride there.
Or animal kingdom cause we want people to go for more than just 1 ride (everest)
Maybe for animal kingdom we could do a ride for the Africa part.
