Okay, as another thread mentions, i have recently aquired a Haunted Mansion Conservatory room. Unlike others who have this room, mine was actually aquired during a VMK Insider Tour at Disneyland. I have filled this room with actual prizes (items from codes from the cards) from the tour, as well as a few other in park items like the Magic Mirror (mainly cause i think it is cool).

It is my goal to open this room up for a few hours each day just to let people see what items are out there in the game from the parks. I will eventually be trading these items as I aquire duplicates. I want people to have a chance to have the cool park stuff, even if they can't afford to get to the parks right away.

Now, why I am posting this: Like my post in another thread mentions, though i want everyone to have an opportunity to get these cool things, i don't find the scam/tactic of whinning, begging and complaining to get the items you want to be a good way of getting these items. If it works for you, then great, though I think it is kinda lame. What i would like to suggest to those of you who can't get to the parks, take this time to get to know your fellow VMKers who do get to the parks and develop good relationships with them so they will want to freely share with you the fruits of their labor of love of the parks.

I can promise you that if you develop positive relationships with players like me who go to the parks often, that the rewards you will reap will be so much more than what you can ever get from begging/whinning/complaining/demanding. If you don't believe me about this, ask my many friends i have made in this game how they got their in park items. (to those of you who are my in game friends, know that it has been your great personalities and friendships that led to me wanting to share with you what i can share from this game).

PS, please feel free to ask me any questions you have about the in park stuff, as i am always willing to share information. I am at the parks very regularly and am working hard to find out information that will be helpful to all of you out there.

So they did VMK quest tours now?? and you won the room.

i was there today they were testing it they only did it like once or twice from what a cast member told me. VMK tours are suppose to be offically up this Coming monday at disneyland and disneyworld with the launch of the game

I wandered by the Haunted Mansion Conservatory yesterday and am grateful to you all for letting us see. I was especially impressed at how graciously you repeatedly answered the same inevitable questions, as newcomers entered your room.

Thanks for your input! I too am a DL local. In fact I'm going on tuesday to do the in park quests and take the VMK tour. I know what you mean about pushy/ rude people. I will be more that happy to trade some of my in park quest stuff with other people here on the boards, If approched correctly ;)But not with I don't know (yet)

I came by your room yesterday, and I was one of the ones asking all the questions (lol). I did remember to use my manners though!! :)
Anyway, thank you for showing us what can be won at the parks. I will be going next Thursday through the following Tuesday, so I have a list of what I need to do/get! Thanks!

Thank you for opening your room, I'm one of those many people who do not get to DL or DW but once every 4 or 5 yrs. It's nice to see what I would be able to get if this was my year, LOL. I can't wait to stop by.
