Yes, it finally happened!

We just turned in out Quest at 7:00 PM tonight.

The Adventureland and Frontierland Quest are now retired, along with the Fantasyland Quest , that was mentioned in the newsletter.

The Quest are not in the trays, but we brought them with us, they told us they were retired.

The tomorrowland is still valid, as of today.

The CM told us, that we can still get the new cards (seasons cards)
When we go back next week, because it is a NEW REWARD.

High School Musical, Animation and Pirates Quest are all still valid.

Since we had the Fronteirland Quest with us, he gave us a 2/30 FL Quest pin, that is all they had left.

The bonus card pack now included 3 cards. 15/30 Hippo Rug, 11/30 Adventureland retro Pin, and 29/30 VMK credits.

We didnt make it over to DCA, so I dont know if they still have the Desk sets.

Finally! I thought those quests were never going to retire. Now the regular quest can finally start their path to 'rare", even though they still won't be rare for a while. :)

Wow, they're really running low to cut the bonus pack down to only three cards!

Did the cast member say when they'd start giving out the "winter" card?

Wow thanks for the info. Finally! After my many many many trip to WDW and being swamped with the old quest stuff, we are finally going to get new stuff. Works for me.

Wow! No more Cactus Chairs, Suitcase Couches, Ace of Spades Carpets, or Prince Phillip Briarstones (or Big Thunder Mountain Teleporters, for that matter). These were the main "perks" for me back in the day since they were the only rewards in the park that you couldn't buy in some form (i.e. different color, style, etc) within the game. The new rewards are very nice, but I hope they come out with some sort of new land quests (there is still Critter County, New Orleans Square, Mickey's Toontown, among others to still use) with new furnishings for us to collect.

It's funny. I remember when you used to have to trade an arm and a leg just to get a Briarstone and as time went on, you could get one for almost nothing. Apparently, it's true what they say...the more things change, the more they stay the same. Get ready to start trading rare stuff just for one of these items once again.

People are already trading way too much for those animation viewers. So, it has begun.

Wow, I'm glad I went when I did - on the 7th of this month, the Frontierland was still available, along with Tomorrowland, HSM, and Animation. The bonus pack had the 3 cards you mentioned along with the Tent Room.... Looks like the good ol' days are coming to an end. :( Oh well - make room for the new stuff!!

Not really, he said "they didnt tell us".

HOWEVER, I said, so I just turned in all of these quest, do I have to wait 90 days, to get those new cards?, He kind of let it slip! He said, Oh, NO, it's a new reward, so you can get it next week, when you turn in the Quests, because it is a different prize.

I actually didnt catch his goof up, until I was in front of Autopia!

I think that there will be new quest next week, and that the new cards, are the BONUS whren you turn in multiple quest. That is the way it sounded to me.

Just to make sure I'm reading this right ... are you saying that I can turn in the old quests provided I submit them before the new prize cards are released (and Disney still has the old cards), then when the new cards are released, I can turn in the quests again for the new prizes even though it hasn't been 90 days?

Since you wouldn't have done any new quests that are might be released, yes, you can complete those and get the cards, even though it hasn't been 90 days. You can only get credit for the quest every 90 days, and since it's new, no one will have done it yet. Get it?

I just came back from WDW (not DLR) and the Frontierland quest is still available there. There was no new bonus card given out either, such as the "Mickey Window" card. The CM there said she knew nothing of it.

Also, as of last Tuesday when I went to WDW, there were no bonus cards given with the quests still available.

BTW, never saw this mentioned (could have been and I missed it), but the animation quest is not like the pirate quest wells and animation desks. You have to turn in the card (only once per 90 days) in order to get the viewer. So, you can think of these along the lines of the pirate prison room for now.
