That pair is really weird looking, to me! I thought my wife had it bad, wearing little teensy weensy high heels down the wedding aisle, and falling down. (Don't laugh, oh well, you can).

Being Japanese, it is taken as an insult that somebody would call shoes tasteless. I have a pair, but they aren't completely uncomfortable...it takes practice :)

Given that ridiculous arch and pointed toe that Barbie dolls have in their feet, I completely agree! Those shoes look like only ballerinas could wear them and even then, they don't need a stacked heel to support them.

Same with kitten, i wouldn't be cought dead wearing those. Although not from the hurting feet (beauty hurts), but from the weird stares i'd get from people. Unfortunatly I can't wear ballet flats for more than two steps. MY heel is uncommenly small so if I take more than two steps my whole foot will fall out of the shoe, even in my toes are jammed inside.

I found a whole Vans and Converses store near in my state. There were, like, WALLS of shoes. And there were Converse shirts, laces, bags, sweatshirts, and XHI Tops. I bought the XHi ones. :P

I was thinking that the shoes with the super-pointed toes remind me of my pointe shoes, except they have an unnecessary stacked heel for support and wouldn't allow the wearer to point her foot properly to dance en pointe. And, if you actually look at the elevated platform shoes, the arches themselves aren't that steep - the shoes are just very high. If you're not afraid of heights and have reasonably good balance, they should be the equivalent of low high heels that are just very high and you should be able to walk in them fairly easily.

Those shoes are funky xD.
