Thinking about the many disney movies, cartoons that are out and have been produced, there are many ideas that have yet come to creation at any of the disney parks.

What movie, cartoon,.... do you think would make a good attraction, hotel, restraunt, or even new land? Explain to the readers why so they can see into your imagination.

I don't know about an attraction or restaurant, but I've always wanted to see the characters from The Rescuers walking around the park.

I mean, we've got obscure minor characters from Robin Hood and Pinocchio (Gideon is always so happy when anybody knows his name!) out there every day! Why not Bernard and Miss Bianca, the stars of two Disney animated classics?

Because they're mice, and Mickey and Minnie have it in their contract. (I'm not entirely sure how Jaques and Gus are able to hide in the castle... or how "the wimmin" sometimes walk about.)

To be honest - I'm not eager to see new imports from the movies. We get plenty, and there are plenty. I'd love to see what the animators do if they could design an attraction not based on a story they've already told. Tell a new story!

Everest was one such attempt, and I think they flubbed it. This would have been a great opportunity for them to create a non-thrill dark ride in addition to the thrill ride.

And Everest will probably be made into a movie any day now. What's Johnny Depp doing next year?

anyway enough about Johnny Depp, it will be Will Ferell i can see it now.
Well when I read the title of this post I thought of the release of
the special edition of ''The Little Mermaid'' because they were supposed to
have a ride for Ariel, and I thought it looked awesome going underwater and stuff. But Disney needs more classics like Space Mountain, Its a Small World,
ET thingy. I refuse to count Jungle Cruise because that is said to be a new movie, and i love Haunted Mansion but that Doom Buggie has sailed to with a
movie also

Okay:
You didn't say WHICH park! (http://members2.jcom.home.ne.jp/1228397901/bianca_guri11.jpg)
Apparently, like the Aristocats characters, there are some that will never make their way out of Paris or Tokyo...) :D

Eh, hemmm. I saw Marie at the Magic Kingdom in WDW recently, so that statement isn't entirely correct.

DVD promotions (like Thumper showing up again in AK to promote the Bambi 2-disk, or the Stepsisters by the castle for Cindy III) don't count.

(Fact is, Disney's beating their heads trying to figure out why DLP and Tokyo still gush over Marie, and most Americans have no idea what she's from!) :)

I don't think disney is going to want to have General Grievous walking around Magic Kingdom.

I wish we could see more of certain characters and have them with their "set" more. A few examples? Darkwing Duck and Launchpad more often, Robin Hood and Little John more often, anything else? The list could continue.....

Aristocats was not "just" released, so your post is in error.

Marie was at WDW during my trip as a normal character, so again I say the statement about the Aristocats characters was incorrect.

Personally, I think that "Meet the Robinsons" could make a good ride. However, there is danger that WDW could go completely to Pixar with the addition of that. (They already have Toy Story, Nemo, etc.)

About Ariel, well, she has a character greeting spot called "Ariel's Grotto" in WDW, right near Dumbo's ride.

I'd like to see characters from The Lion King walking around.

Tron.

I always thought that an attraction where you are digitized and go inside a computer would be great for tomorrowland. Lot's of neon lights and blacklights and Tron characters zipping around on light cycles until you are "de-rezzed".

The Lion King. A ride would be great.

I also think Disneyland should have an area dedicated to villains, though that may ruin the "good always triumphs over evil" thing.

Disney made a deal with lucasarts (the guys who made starwars. Remember star tours in DLR.) i don't know exactly, but that deal might have expired... but in theory, disney could get general grevious to walk around the park. O.O'

Oh, I completely agree. Meet the Robinsons is the best animated film Disney's put out in years, and I think there's a lot of potential there. What about say, The Robinsons' Time Travel Chase? It could be located in MGM, adding a much-needed ride to the park. Guests could join Wilbur and Lewis in a thrilling simulator ride through time, chasing after Bowler Hat Guy and Doris in their stolen time machine. You could even travel to Doris's future where the earth is ruled by hats... I think that'd be a really neat attraction. It could use technology similar to the now closed BTTF ride in Universal, with a huge dome screen and dozens of small vehicles all aimed at it.

Why don't we have the three mariachi's with donald walking around WDW and DLR?

i think there should be a movie about the ride its a small world, and everest those are the only rides that i can think of that dont have a movie. i would like to see a hotel detacated just to mickey mouse, set up just like an all star hotel but goes threw the years of mickey kinda like pop century like one section would be the start of mickey and another would be the mickey mouse club. i also think disney need to do more promotion for vmk, like a comerical on the disney channel, yavn could star in it. disneyworld needs a new park but im unsure of what it would be. it would be neat if they put a gaint pirate ship in the magic kingdom for potc and maybe deocorate the castle like they did when stitch took over the magic kingdom. id like to see a vmk convetion in the near future (id go!) where us vmk card collectors could trade some of used cards for some cards we didnt have, for expample i havent been to disneyland yet so id like to trade my wdw cards for the disneyland cards im missing. and one last thing id like to see a movie for figment not sure what it would be about.

I was rather surprised that a Lightcycle game wasn't added to VMK during Tron Month. (That was before I got used to VMK disappointing us with missed oppoprtunities.)
