Does anyone know what you have to do to get online for the Wii?

First off do you own a Wii?

If so what type of internet connection do you have?

If you own a Wireless router you need your WEP key. ( your password that you made up) That is if you have a secure base station.
or a Wi-fi USB connector that attaches onto you computer.
The Wii picks up wireless signals from your Router or computer this way.

If wired you need to buy a Wii LAN adapter.

If you need any more information. Their online pages describe this in more detail.

There is already a discussion thread about the Wii. You can access the internet freely if you have a router. If you have a router, please tell me. Then I will tell you how to set it up.

-makes loud buzz noise in rock's ear- Incorrect! Wii points are for downloading extras like virtual console games and wii wares like the internet channel.

Exactly, and if you have your connection up already, go into the Wii Shop, go to Wii Ware, and dowload the Internet Trial Channel.

Wii points cost like $25 for 2000 points (at least in Canada). Kind of pricey for me but at the same time I'd get 4 or 5 old games that I want
